Several of our friends had suggested we try the Fire House restaurant in our hometown of Prescott Az. We finally went last weekend and must say we enjoyed everybit of our evening there. Not only were our meals truly delicious, but every person we came into contact with that evening, was helpful and very nice. As a result of our great time, we suggest anyone looking for a happy eating out experience, try the Fire House. We can't wait to go again.

“A local favorite”
Reviewed November 10, 2008

We visited Firehouse Kitchen a few weeks ago for dinner for the first time. The ambiance is very nice and the ownership very positive and attentive. My husband enjoyed the pork chop with bacon gravy (it tastes just like I make at home), I had the special mahi mahi with brie wrapped in bacon (WOW!), and our friend loved his chicken marsala, stating he wished he could make chicken that tender at home. I asked for a glass of the Malbec that I noticed on the wine list upstairs in bar, though not on the menu in the dining room, and was happily accomodated. The three of us, despite being very full, shared the bananas foster with ice cream (what's not to love about that!). After dinner, we went up to the bar for an after dinner drink and enjoy some light entertainment. A most enjoyable experience from beginning to end and this appears will now become our favorite 'go to' place. I recommend it for visitors and locals alike.

“First visit to Firehouse Kitchen”
Reviewed October 21, 2008

We really liked Firehouse Kitchen. Although pricey, we loved the pop overs and quite enjoyed the generous servings of good home cooking. The atmosphere was very nice as we sat by the windows on the South side. We'll give a thumbs up to the pot roast and the meat loaf but were a bit less enthusiastic about the fried chicken and the brisket.

“Stress Relief and Great Food”
Reviewed October 17, 2008

Prescott has a void of really nice places to sit outside and have cocktails, followed by a good food experience. This IS the place. Awesome upstairs balcony and bar, and really nice cozy dining area downstairs. We have visited three times, and seems the owner (?) is always present and very attentive and though the dining area is small, she moves to get people seated and acommodated quickly. The menu is diverse, and it seems that while the prices were a little high in the beginning, they have now settled into a reasonable price range. This place is all about service and good food. This is no 1 on our list for a Friday night end of the week. Just what the doctor ordered!
