For day trips to Sedona, Grand Canyon, or just on nearby trails -- stop for a hearty breakfast and your lunch can be being made while you eat. We have a cooler in the car and our own drinks, so just pack in those giant sandwiches with sides. They pack them in large square hard plastic containers with lids, so your cooler can't be a small one and can't be already overloaded. The banana nut bread is so moist and delicious. We get a loaf for an afternoon snack or to use the next morning as part of breakfast. Been there 3 times on trips to Prescott and will go back every time. Wish we had some of this chain in the east near PHL.

We generally go to Wildflower for a quick lunch, when we're shopping at the mall. My wife loves their fresh salad choices, while prefer the homemade soups and sandwiches. The portions are generous and everything tastes fresh and delicious. Food is ordered at the counter and quickly delivered to your table. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are self-serve. Naturally, everything is served with some of their signature bread.

Once in awhile, we'll make a special trip to Wildflower for breakfast, where we especially enjoy a side order of sausage with our prepared to order eggs and toasted artisian bread.

Where Wildflower falls short, IMHO, is their pastries... which in my experience have been dry and stale.

First night in town - didn't know where to eat. The front desk at the Residence Inn told us about the Wildflower. What a find. Excellent sandwiches - quick service. Would definitely go again.

As much we visit Wildflower I am amazed we haven't grown tired of the delicious food choices. But we always find something healthful and delicious. Yes, there are a few desserts that are oh so good and certainly not items to partake daily, but the Wildflower staff are simply too friendly and we can't stay away. We have yet (and this back years) to not run into to someone we know there. The atmosphere is just one of those places you want to hang out in for a long time. Casual to Sunday best can be seen at any time. Lunch can get a bit noisy because it is their busiest meal of the day. They serve amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Get there early and grab a table first thing when you walk in. Most people are respectful of a book or cell phone or keys as a sign you have 'staked your claim'. But please try and be respectful of others looking for a table when it is crowded and not take up a 4 person booth or table with just yourself. If you see a friendly face, invite them to share your table. You may just meet someone interesting. Bravo Annie Woodruff, Store Manager, for making Prescott Wildflower a wonderful experience every time.

This last trip to Prescott Arizona, we made our get-away-day stop for breakfast at Wildflower Bread Company in the Prescott Gateway Mall. This was a wise stop. Yes, this would be considered a chain per se, but they’re only in 11 locations within the greater Phoenix area and Northern Arizona. DH ordered the Taylor Ham Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta roll breakfast sandwich. For myself, half Chicken Salad on 9grain bread and a bowl of Vegetarian Lentil Soup, I love soup and Sammie for late-ish breakfast.

They have lovely looking baked goods, such as a large variety of breads, rolls, pastries, cookies and more to take home. It’s a friendly, clean, delicious stop for a cup of coffee or tea and a bite, sit with friends and chat, read the paper, there’s no rushing you out the door. Lunch and Dinner are served as well. I think that we will make a point of stopping here again.
