We had the best times at the Gato Azul, for our lunch and dinner with family. Really, can everything be that good? They are so small and mostly outdoor seating along a very cool walking path called Granite Creek. Everything, including the service, was excellent and the value was good too... Thanks agian... We will definitley be back. Signed, very discriminating from Texas.... LOL!!!

My husband and I had lunch there on Monday, 9/3. We were hungry for tapas and thought we'd try El Gato Azul. We were not disappointed. We ate outside - lovely area! We ordered four different tapas and enjoyed them all. The servings were a bit larger than we expected, but all delightful! If we move to Prescott (as we plan to), we will be regulars at El Gato Azul.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon in August so it was too hot to sit outside but it looked like it would be very nice in the evening or cooler time of year. There were just two of us so we only got to try two tapas – but both were very good. The inside seating area is a little funky and could stand some cleaning and paint.

It sounded like a nice evening - small plates (tapas) with Spanish guitars. And it was. The food was excellent. Different hummus every night, fried black bean cakes, marinated mushrooms etc. Music was very nice. A lovely evening.

El Gato Azul is a bit hard to find, but the food and atmosphere was well worth it. We ate outside on the patio (but under the awning). They have an amazing menu of tapas (bar food) that has many surprises in it (be sure to turn over the menu to see them).

I was a bit surprised at the prices of the alcoholic drinks, as the rest of the food was not very high. The food was good, and we had no problems with the service at all.
