The Grand Highland hotel was a gem, so lovely to find a hotel that is so different from all the chains. This place has been tastefully decorated, every room is different, the staff are charming and so helpful. The location is good and the parking very close by. It is exceptionally clean, has lovely linens and towels, the bathrooms are superb. Our trip to Arizona was for 5 weeks, we stayed in many hotels but this one was the best, hopefully we will be able to return one day.

Room Tip: They are all good.

This newly renovated hotel right on Whiskey Row was excellent.
It met my high standards of cleanliness. The bed had good
linens and was very comfortable. The bathroom had large
fluffy towels and was well appointed. All of the staff were pleasant
and went above and beyond what is normal. My luggage
was carried from my car to my room and then when I checked
out back to my car. I was in the SpeakEasy room which had
wonderful windows looking out on the square. I loved that room
and the bathroom was huge.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room stay away from the two rooms fronting the square. It's pretty noisy i...

This was the perfect get-away hotel for my wife and I after the holidays. It's exceptionally clean, nicely appointed rooms, good breakfast. It's in the perfect location in Prescott, right on the Courthouse Square, so you can walk to everything. Parking ramp is only a 2 minute walk away.

You cannot find a better location in the heart of Prescott for a short escape to enjoy holiday lights of the Town Square, historical saloons of Whiskey Row, and wonderful shops in the heart of the city. The owners and family members have done a marvelous job of recovering from a fire of a few years ago and turning the Grand Highland Hotel into a boutique hideaway. Each room has its own theme, and interior decor is a unique blend of imagination and faux painting that will make you want to see every room and bathroom. FRIENDLINESS is at the heart of family owners and staff alike, and we could not have been more warmly welcomed! While our room was a bit small, the bathroom was pleasantly large. The bed was comfortable for a couple of nights, but not a long-time stay. Be advised, this hotel is not for the feint of heart as it is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so pack light or ask for assistance with luggage from easy parking on Montezuma Street (Whiskey Row) in front, or the free city parking garage in back. The included breakfast is perfect to start your day while not ruining your appetite for the terrific restaurants on Gurley Street. Enjoy!

Room Tip: When an elevator is installed, we will return and request one of the suites, preferably one of the t...

I cannot say enough about this hotel and the staff, nor do I have enough space. Do yourself a favor and stay here. The hotel is a historic building with newly renovated rooms to mimic a late 1880's, early 1900's facade and feel (minus the flat screen tv's)). 12 unique rooms from a small suite to the cozy room we stayed in. Our room was very tiny and all the rooms are close to the front desk, requiring discretion and being fairly quiet ) So if you want to party or have a bunch of kids, or want to be loud this is probably not the place for you )
The staff is truly amazing. All the girls were so friendly, warm, and welcoming (i can't remember their names) and Ray made us coffee and brought it to the room. He also granted every request we had from an iron, comb, and razor to snacks. He even called after check-out to notify us we left a shirt. I have left so many things in large hotels before only to well...lose them.
Some friends of ours stayed at a historic hotel around the corner and wished they had chosen this place after touring our room and hotel.
We didn't want to leave and cannot wait to visit again soon!!!
Thank you Highland Staff!

Room Tip: This is an intimate hotel so you have the potential to hear everything so discretion is key. Ask for...

This is the cutest hotel....it is a boutique style and the service was absolutely outstanding! We went there with our 2 boys and stayed in the suite....the claw foot tub was the most adorable tub ever and one of our boys kept asking to take baths....making sure to get the most out of it. The owners and staff were so kind, generous, and accomodating. This is probably my favorite hotel- ever.

We will be back and cannot recommend this little gem, in the heart of Prescott enough. It is perfect!!!

Room Tip: The suite is perfect for couples with kids.

Had an incredible time in Prescott with our friends, CCreekers. Our two night stay at the Grand Highland Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Located in the heart of Whiskey Row, One is within walking distance of so many great Restaurants and Shops. Our hosts Rey and Molly were great! Very friendly and accommodating, with a vast knowledge of the surrounding area and great places restaurants, etc, to check out. The Hotel itself is loaded with personality, beautifully decorated with a very warm but boutique atmosphere. Each room has it's own theme and is immaculate. The bathrooms are very cool with the large "old style" pedestal sinks and huge footed bathtubs/showers. A very nice Continental Breakfast is included with your stay as well. Prescott is a great destination. A lot to do and see without the "Tourist Trap" feel. Very highly recommended, We look forward to our return to Prescott, Rey, Molly and The Grand Highland Hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are great. You might want to choose one of the more centrally located rooms to avoid some...
