“Fun and Entertaining”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

This is a great special occasion place to go! The day we went in, there were a couple of talented guys singing and playing guitars. This added to the authentic feel that you get as you enter this place. We had their famous Corn Chowder and enjoyed it with a Ruben sandwich. The service and the food were both pretty good. (Not the best but better than normal).

“Lunch in "Beautiful Prescott"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014

Decided to have lunch here because my guy Alan was craving a pulled pork sandwich. We were seated at "Big Nose Kate's" booth. The food & service was great and the display of western collectibles was an added plus to our eating experience

“The Old West Comes to Life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2014

Before we walked in the door we heard music. Once inside we saw a musician duo playing to an audience. Right at the front table were a couple of locals sporting cowboy hats, boots, guns in their holsters, vests and duster coats. If it weren't for the rest of the people in present-day dress I would have thought we traveled back in time. Was a nice surprise. If you've never visited this historic bar and restaurant, it's a slice of the Old West from the massive, carved wooden bar to the decor to the photos of early Prescott on the walls. We'd been to the Palace on a previous trip and had planned to only have a drink and venture out to dinner. Ultimately we decided to stay for a meal and did not regret our decision. It was one of the best meals we had in Prescott. My husband devoured a rib eye as big and juicy and incredibly flavorful as any he'd ever eaten. I had a cornmeal breaded piece of catfish so big I could eat only half, plus hand made (warm) potato chips and cole slaw. We left happy and full and dreaming of going back.

“Great service and great food”

Looking for dinner with the family and was not disappointed. Steak was cooked to perfection and the corn chowder was delish. Wished we had room for dessert.

“Good Food and Artifacts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2014 via mobile

Part of "Whiskey Row" on the historic block of buildings by the courthouse. We had a nice roast beef sandwich and enjoyed the western singers. The service was good the display of western collectibles and the story of the Earp brothers operating their card games in the saloon add to the ambience.
