“Food Was Just OK and Management Unconcerned”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

We went here for a Sunday lunch, hoping to find a great place to eat in Prescott for our frequent day trips to the area. We waited a while until we could get water and service. We ordered a breakfast burrito and a grilled lettuce wedge salad. The brunch entrees come with a glass of champagne, and I asked if I could get a cup of coffee instead. Not possible. I asked if we could get the breakfast burrito without onions. Not possible, because it is all premixed. The burrito was loaded with onions, and the best things on the plate were the potatoes and beans. The grilled wedge was very rich and had a sour taste.

The manager did visit our table to ask how the meal was. When I said it was just OK, she moved on without another word--apparently not interested.

We would not go back to this place--the food did not justify the fairly high prices, and the indifference of the management was apparent. One of the key factors in any business' success is how it handles the customers who are not happy with the situation.

“Upscale but Casual Dining - New to Prescott & Welcome!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at Prescott Station recently, based on recommendations by trusted friends.

The menu is broad - something for everyone's taste. Portions are quite large. My husband had an Ahi Tuna Salad, which he enjoyed (except that it had a little too much dressing that pooled in the bottom of the plate). I had the Chile Relleno, which was especially good with the accompanying Jalapeno Creme Sauce!

A really nice option is to try the $3 "bite-size" version of some desserts. We tried the Carrot Cake, Lemon Tart, and Fruit Cobbler. All were excellent, and actually provide a few bites. Larger versions are available from a broader set of choices.

Service was good - better than the norm in Prescott. Prices were a bit high - but considering the quality and quantity of the food, they were not out of line.

We are looking forward to going back for dinner sometime soon. We hear that their steaks are really good.

“Trying a new place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

We tried what was a new restaurant for us. We have lots of company and are always looking for new places to take them.
The decor was nice but we were seated at a very small table next to a wall and felt crowded. It was very noisy & probably one of the main reason why we won't be back. Our waiter and service was excellent. The food was good but too salty, without any bread or rolls, and overpriced for what we had.
Overall, if you want a nice relaxing dinner and are willing to pay on the high end, then there are other places in town that are better.

“Nice new place in Prescott...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

I dined here for lunch with a friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. She had the Warm Spinach and Chicken salad that looked beautiful and she said was delicious. I had a protein style Navajo Turkey sandwich that was fabulous. The weekday lunch croud was pretty loud, but that's typical in downtown Prescott. The decor was nice, the service was good and the menu was very interesting. The prices are a bit higher than the typical Prescott restaurant, but I did not mind paying a bit more for the food we ate because it was very good. They have a very extensive wine list so I hope to take my husband there for dinner sometime to try some other new foods and check our their wines. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

“Inconsistent but has terrific potential”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

Dinner entree's at the Prescott Station are off the charts excellent--5 stars out of five stars.
On the other hand, the fish tacos are not good. The fish they use in the tacos is not well prepared, the beans are, in our minds, too spicy to eat, and the tortillas they use for taco shells are either so soft they fall apart or if you order the blue corn tortillas, they are so hard they crumble in your hands.

We absolutely believe this restaurant will be a winner and we definitely will go back---just not for fish tacos.
