“definitely worth seeing”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Simply beautiful. A gentle enough trail that the whole family can walk or bike it, an adventure that you won't regret.

“Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Prescott sits in the Central Highlands of Arizona, at around 5300 feet high. "Hidden" in the city, known as "everyone's Hometown", is the Peavine Trail which runs through a distinctive geological formation known to residents as "The Dells". This very civilized mildly ascending trail runs right through The Dells on the remnants of what used to be a railroad thoroughfare. In Prescott, the trail starts off on Sundog Road, and it doesn't looks like a trail that will offer any rewards. Wrong. The trail leads through a picturesque portion of the Dells with nice water views as you amble along ... Bring your camera, because most cities don't offer this level of beauty. And once you get this glimpse of the Dells, you can drive over to the park on rt 89 for an impressive view of the Dells from an elevated observation point for a beautiful panoramic view of the Dells from the other side of the lake. If you are a visitor to Prescott, the Dells are not to be missed.

“New Life for a Rail Trail”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

This is one of the Rail Trails, in which a former rail bed has been converted to a trail. We took our bikes on it, and enjoyed the great scenery of the Granite Dells. This is an easy ride with nice views.

“Did I mention Geocaching!!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

There are Geocache hiding spots all along the Peavine and over into the Crown King trail as well. We have also driven out miniature horses along the Peavine.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

This is the perfect trail if you want a scenic walk or bike ride. It is not challenging. We push our stroller and have no problems. Everyone you meet on the trail is friendly.
It is very beautiful and scenic. I recommended it to anyone in the area.
