After about a half an hour walking around the whisky row of shops looking for a specific restaurant we settled on this nice little bistro inside of the St. Michael's Hotel. Both the food and the service were good, nothing to write home to, but it was satisfying. Two of us ordered their bistro burger, the rest had the quiche of the day, the chicken alfreado, and the last person had the potato crusted salmon. All reported that the food was good and the potions were nice.

The wheather outside was rainy and the large windows in the front allowed us to people watch those at the park and watch the wheather change as the meal went on. The dinning room looked as though it was old beautiful wood floors and a really nice ceiling looking as though both original to the building.

If we were ever in the area again I would be sure to give the bistro another try.

Our server sold us on ordering their ribeye steak, which was on special. We cautioned her that we wanted them prepared rare to medium-rare; nevertheless they came out well done, tough and rather stringy. The server seemed irritated when we complained and disappeared. Another server said he'd inform the chef and also disappeared. We sent one steak back almost untouched, and the other partly eaten. The manager appeared and was quite apologetic and deducted part of the check. The dining room atmosphere was pleasant enough although there were few customers. The only thing we liked was that the house Merlot was pretty decent and reasonably priced. This was our first and last time at this place.

I've eaten at this restaurant several times over the years and it's always had good food and good service unitl last week. This past week the staff was just awful and the food was not prepared properly. I'll be skipping this restaurant in my future trips to Prescott.

Another typical boring Prescott restaurant trying to be trendy and failing. Wouldn't survive without hotel guests and tourists.
