History is wonderful. Recommend the guided tour and to go when it's a little cool out as there is no AC.

If you enjoy history and relaxing at the same time this is a great place to be. The staffs friendly welcome, pioneer atmosphere and quiet surroundings were extremely enjoyable. After a tough week in the heat of Phoenix our stress and worldly cares faded away. Turn your phone off, take time to rest in the garden or gazebo and you'll walk away with a renewed outlook on life.

Any visitor to Prescott should make a point of stopping by Sharlot Hall Museum. It has a lot of local history going back to the early 19th century. History is what Prescott is all about and this is an excellent place to start.

We learned a tremendous amount about Arizona history and were amazed at all of the artifacts that Sharlot Hall had the foresight to collect over the years. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all kinds of questions. The nicest part is that it is small and you can learn a lot about the area and the natives without have to spend hours and hours.
