“Great opportunity to see wildlife up close and personal”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

We passed by this roadside attraction on the way in to Tucson, and made a point to stop on our way out of town. It was so awesome!! We were the only people there, so we had a blast. The donkeys and deer followed you around the pen looking for handouts. It was so amazing to be so up close to a deer that you were able to pet it! That was a once in a lifetime experience. there were cool goats, and amazing ostriches there...I had no idea they were so big! The prairie dogs were amuzing, and the ducks were fun to feed as well. The lorikeet cage was fun to enter, and the birds landed right on the people looking for the nectar cup. It was a great experience!

“Rooster Cogburn's Ranch”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

We came to visit the ranch on a trip form SLC, Utah to Arizona.
After reading about the animals and the monster truck ride..
It was so hot, but we had so much fun...Glad it was open!!
My husband and I had the place to ourselves and had soooo much fun feeding all the animals!!!
I loved the little Sicilian donkeys and the deer and the lorikeets!!! They ate right from our hand!!! And the ostriches and the goats and ducks!!!! Too fun!!!!
To see the size of the ostriches and their eggs is Amazing!!!!!
The owners are so nice and chatted with us about anything we asked.
After years of seeing deer run around here in Utah,,,I finally got to get up close and actually feed them!!!! An experience I will never forget!!!!! And the rainbow lorikeets are so much fun-drinking nectar right from the little cup in your hand-they were so beautiful!!!
EVERYONE should stop and see this place!!!
Worth every penny!!! If we had been in a car and not on our motorcycle I would've bought actual ostrich feather dusters they sold there!!!!!
A Must SEE!!!!
We got there on a Monday-and the Monster truck wasn't running, but we loved everything else!

“A desert gem, such fun”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

We saw this place on Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy. It is a very quaint, rustic little ranch. You get to feed the animals (donkeys, goats, ostriches, prairie dogs, ducks, fawns, a huge tortoise & Lorikeets). It's very interactive. Children would love it. I'm an adult and I loved it. The Lorikeets were my favorite. Colorful little birds that eat nectar from a container in your hand. They sit on your arms, shoulders, head, chest... where ever they like. You can take pictures. There is a porta potty & several stations with hand wipes. Admission was only $5 a person. You get a great view of Picacho Peak Mountain also. This is definitely worth the visit. The ostrich beef jerky was tender with a bit of spice. Yum!

“Got bit by an Ostrich and loved it!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

This place is great. Was on vacation with family in Tucson and decided to take a quick 40 minute drive to Roosters. My nephew (6) and niece (10) loved it. Got to feed donkeys, deer, goats, ostrich, ducks, lorikeets and prairie dogs. My less adventurous niece preferred the adorable prairie dog exhibit over the intimidating birds. The whole place takes about 1-2 hours so it's pretty quick but worth it. Def will return.

“Don't just drive by”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

This is one of those places that our friends all said, "yeah we've driven by there." Two teen boys and we had a great time. You get to feed and pet the animals. The colorful birds were a family favorite. It's clean, well laid out and a cheap way to spend a few hours. We did the monster truck and while it wasn't a desert trek, it was still fun. Our guide was great. We learned a lot about ostriches and the last little bit when they revved it up and did some jumps was fun, but not too crazy.
