The miracle mile has some goods eats, but now miracles are to be found. This delicatessen comes straight out of the streets of NYC. With its salted cured meats piled high on soft rye bread you would think you would in for a treat. But forget about it, because I already have. The miracle mile in the Biltmore district has a cool, wide open feel to it but the food just doesn't quite deliver. They give you a lot of food and the cost if fairly reasonable at $8-$10 a head but they leave you wanting more. The rueben is a little light on sauce and flavor and heavy on chewy pastrami. The matzo ball soup is pretty good, but again, nothing you would run home to tell Vito about. With so many culinary options available to people in the valley, this place will pack and artery but will disappoint your taste buds. There are better options, even better options in the same strip mall. I recommend finding something and giving the miracle mile delicatessen a pass, you might miss your second heart attack, but you won't miss much more than that.
