“The Interstate might disturb you in the morning”
Reviewed May 24, 2012

The hotel was difficult to find, and it was not entirely the fault of the gps to the taxidriver.
The next day our own gps did not pick the perfect route. There is the Interstate 17 next door and it is noisy, also at night.

There is a small pool to dip in at the back. We stayed for two days to loose the jetlag before our 21 day odessy over 11 states up to the canadian border.

The room was huge, probably the most spacious we have experienced in the Comfort Suites category, our preferred brand in Choice Hotels.

Thank you for your kind words! Our guest rooms are spacious and well appointed. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to your return. Next time your in the area please feel free to request a room adjacent to the freeway, this should help the eliminate the road noise.

We came to Phoenix to watch spring training games, so we were not at the hotel much during the week we were here. However, the hotel met our needs for what we wanted it to do. It was centrally located, near several restaurants, easy to get to, and appeared to be in a fair part of town. The breakfasts had a good selection except that they ran out of stuff a couple of days. I realize that can happen, but it seems like you would anticipate this when the hotel is full and "stock up". The nights were relatively quiet. The front desk staff was helpful. John (at the front desk) was particularly helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a 2QB suite (extended room with couch). The room had a medium size frig (not one of those tiny cubes!), microwave, and room for food storage. The room was quite spacious. The beds were new, but too soft for my taste - although my daughter loved them! We requested a room on the top floor away from the elevator & ice machine AND they were more than accomodating! We interacted with more than 5 front desk staff and ALL were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast is hot with a very nice selection for the whole family. The hotel itself is off a quiet street, but adjacent to I-17. I was worried at first, but the windows seemed soundproof and we did not hear any of the interstate traffic noise. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It's a great bargin!! (yes, there is a $1.50 in-room safe fee, but they removed the charge when I said I wasn't going to use it).

We stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night. By a mistake we reserved an accessible room. The room was quite worn out and front desk replaced our room to a better one. We felt as the hotel was almost deserted and that front desk service was mediocre. Free wifi in the room. Breakfast was included. Ample of parking space. Reserved at choicehotels for 80$.

On the following night we stayed at another Comfort Suites (in Peoria, AZ, 15 miles away) and enjoyed it over there.

Room Tip: There is a nicer Comfort Suites in nearby Peoria, AZ (15 miles).

I was very suprised at check in to see an box stating a $1.50 fee for the in-room safe. I have stayed at hotels all over this country and internationally and never been charged to the In-room safe. The amount is not the issue, just the separate fee. This may be a Choice Hotel Corporate policy, just ALWAYS check what they are charging for.

Thanks to Cathy for helping us out. We had a bad experience at a hotel downtown and they checked us in right away. (10 am) We spent 3 days here. Breakfast was good, no syrup for the waffles was the only thing I could see as a minor blip. Room was large, bed was comfortable.
Two tv's in the room, they were small but we were not there to watch tv. Nice indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. The Hotel is close to the mall and plenty of restaurants.

Stayed here for a family event in nearby Mesa. Didn't realize that it was at least a 30 minute drive from Mesa and the family gave me a hard time about that...until we arrived at the hotel and they saw how nice it was and how comfortable and spacious their rooms were.

Loved the indoor pool, especially since an outdoor pool would have been too hot in August. Since we brought our two teenagers, it was great that we could have one queen bed, our daughter the other queen bed, and our son the sofa bed.

We brought our two little dogs with us and the hotel staff welcomed them, too!
