I have stayed at this hotel for business quite a lot over the last year and a half, and for the first time in my travels I made lodging decisions based on the staff at a hotel. There is a team chemistry quite evident throughout the facility. From the front desk to in the Elevate lounge where us frequent travelers spend parts of our mornings and evenings. I was kind of surprised at my own actions where I was drawn back to a hotel so that I could catch up with the super friendly and personable staff at the Elevate lounge! Kudo’s to the management for establishing such a culture and kudo’s for all the staff in making my stays in Phoenix so pleasant.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. Pleasant hotel staff. Room was really small, barely 3 feet of space between the foot of the bed and the desk and no place to sit except the desk, so it was not a comfortable room to just relax in. There were 2 queen beds, a desk with chair, mini fridge, good in room coffee. You have to pay for internet, one rate for basic connection, more expensive for a good connection :(.
The property has a nice fitness room with cardio equipment, weights, and weight machine. There is a nice outside area for sitting, meeting. it's in downtown, so you can walk to a variety of restaurants and stores and the science museum.
Overall, it was ok for a conference room but i would not stay here again.

I'm so sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Marriott Reward members always have complimentary wifi, and it's free to join! We have many different types of room configurations so perhaps you'd be more comfortable in one of them. I hope you give us another try. Be well, and safe travels!

From the beautiful room, to the great buffet breakfast all were great for this Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel lobby is decorated in a stylish modern way. When all of the other hotels bars and restaurants were closed early or just closed they were open to serve. The pool and outdoor space was just okay, it didnt get much sun, but was nice for the wedding that was there. The bar serves the lunch, happy hour and dinner and late night drinks all with great personality. If you are looking for after hours drinks check out Melindas place, a speakeasy of sorts. The hotel is centrally located and fun.

Very convenient location downtown. Starbucks in the lobby doesn't take mobile orders and the line moves slowly but good service. Front desk staff are helpful. Suite rooms are very spacious. Bathrooms have good counter space and lighting.

The hotel is surrounded by downtown area sports venues, restaurants and commercial places. The outside of the hotel showed some age, but the inside seem had the remodeling work done recently. The room has good size and layout, with newer furniture and TV. The concierge lounge on the top floor has good combination of snacks, soft drinks and very friendly service. Didn't have breakfast in the hotel due to early morning departure. When called the customer service line to ask if there is any breakfast option in the hotel around 5 am, the answer took one star away from the hotel - "No, but there is a McDonald two blocks away open at 4 am"
