Had a reunion dinner here with family - the portion sizes are huge. This is a favorite restaurant of a family member and I wish I had a chance for another visit. My kids had the cheeseburger and talked about it for days - all good. I tried short rib tacos on a recommendation - go for it.

You cannot find Bella Glos in many restaurants, which was one of the reasons we visited Chelsea's Kitchen.
We enjoyed the Deviled Eggs and Nachitos, which I thought would be a small portion of nachos, boy was I wrong. It was a huge portion. We had the Pan Fried Chicken and Prime Ri as entrees with a side of mac-n-cheese for our entrees which were good but the mac-n-cheese was just okay. We finished our dinner with little gelato and some of the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.
We had a great meal and with great wine and great service.

No, they don't take reservations. With the number of people who flock here to eat, it is strictly first come, first served. Get here early for dinner while there is still room in the lot for the valets to park Your car!

House policy is to not take You to a table until all in Your party have arrived. My wife and i arrived early to get a table and sat at the bar while we waited for our other twosome to arrive. We had the house famous white sangria and the prickly pear margarita. Lots of pucker in the margarita! When we became four, we were immediately take to our table on the patio. Perfect night for outdoor dining!

We started with their guacamole and chips, which also came with a bowl of charred tomatillo salsa. Wonderful! Excellent guac, and the salsa had a rich smoky flavor. When the chips ran out, more magically arrived at our table. Good server!

Our entrees were: halibut (fish of the day), chicken mole tacos, green chili cheeseburger, brussels sprout salad and baked mac and cheese. The burger was very thick and covered top and bottom with green chiles and cheese. Came with their house fries seasoned with their house seasoning. Delicious! Would recommend this highly, or any of their burgers, as they are a very generous serving and deliciously prepared. Top notch!

The chicken mole tacos came with plenty of chicken and a rich mole sauce that had a distinct peanut taste to it. Thick, rich, dark. Amazing. Tortillas are made when the dish is ordered and diners assemble their own soft tacos. Came with a side of the house specialty salad of kale. Very flavorful and a great combo with the tacos.

The halibut came in a bowl with rice and a rich Vera Cruise sauce that had tomatoes and olives. Very tasty presentation, although this was the smallest of the meals we received. Perhaps the size of the fish was small because it was the last order available for the night. Must have been very popular that evening since we ordered around 6:45. Good thing this went to the lightest eater in our group.

i was intrigued by the idea of a brussels sprout salad. It came with a mix of bacon, almonds, raisins, dried cranberries, and manchego cheese. The bright flavor of the sprouts were well complimented by the fixings. This is "the original" according to their menu. i would happily go back for this again. And again!

i was especially glad that i had the baked mac and cheese to help fill me up. Their version is so cheesy that when i tried to dish out portions for others to try, it was very difficult not to have long unbreakable strings of cheese going from serving bowl to plates. This was not only the cheesiest mac i have ever been presented, it was also some of the most wonderfully flavored from the roasted green chiles that were present. This is the first time i have ever run out of mac before i ran out of cheese. This for me was the best item we sampled all night. If You are a fan of mac and cheese, give this a try.

For dessert, we tried the fudge sundae and some of the pistachio gelato. The sundae came with two pitchers of fudge and caramel topping and 4 bowls of add ons-chocolate chips, ground oreo, peanuts and sprinkles. Very fun to make it to suite Yourself.

The gelato was rich, smooth and perfectly flavored by pistachios. Very well done!

On the way out, the hostess made sure we knew about the complimentary chocolate chip cookies waiting for all by the door. An unexpected surprise on the way out that put more smile on our faces. Very tasty with sea salt on the top.

Potent drinks. Excellent food. A very large patio full of happy people enjoying great meals on a perfect Arizona evening. Those who ate indoors missed out-who would have expected comfortable weather for outdoor dining in May? Pays to get the weather report before deciding if You are going to dine inside or out in the Valley of the Sun.

We are looking forward to our next visit!!!!!!!

If you want the best light appetizer that's a real treat for your taste buds then you have to try this dish...Chelsae's Kitchen, Tuna Tar Tar with fresh made guacamole & home tortilla chips.. Even though it's a bit strange that some of the best sea food can now be found in the middle of the Sonoran Desert, this is well worth checking out. They also have a white wine sangria that goes perfect with it. Service is top notch as well. It's located just one block north of 40th & Camelback in the Scottsdale AZ area. Be sure to sit outside in the patio under the shade trees.
