I just recently went to Alwun house on a First Friday in the evening. I got there early, so they were setting up the stage for music. I don't know how often they change their art, but this night there were very beautiful, large paintings on the walls. Nice. The art gallery part of the house is much smaller than I'd imagined, but well worth a visit. The receptionist wasn't a happy camper but she was polite. It looked like there was going to be a crowd later, with the bar, the stage and an area under the trees for sitting and talking. Parking was extremely limited. Maybe there is another area to park, in addition, but I didn't see it. How long a person could spend here probably varies a lot. Can't really say if they offer food or not or if there are bathroom facilities available.
