“Great food, friendly service”
Reviewed June 23, 2013 via mobile

This spot has become a favorite - we regularly combine meals & movies (date night!) here. So many superlatives apply - great entrees, wonderful pizza, fresh & delicious salads. We've used their bread & desserts for parties - always with RAVE reviews. Staff is warm & welcoming - feels like 'family' after so many visits. The wine list could improve - they have no 'excellent' wines to accompany their excellent food.

“Park once, lunch, then the movies”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Our group arrived for a late lunch before the theatre. The recommended wine by the glass, a red, was a nice pairing with our lunch. The vegetable and asparagus soups were well seasoned and served in small, handled pots. The just-right, thin crust, Margherita pizzas with hard, shaved cheese on the side, were enough for two to share. The well presented, roasted veggie platter was tasteful; served with a toasted bread loaf, it was delicious. Service was attentive. A few paces to the Harkins 101 theatre!

Out of 10 times eating out, 9 is Cafepino. Tasty, CLEAN, great service. Owners are always making sure each client is satisfied. Best place to eat from our experience.

“You got to be kidding me”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

Lol when we walked in and stated "Hi we're just looking to have a few drinks (meaning can we sit at a bar) the Bald manager who I now see from reviews is the stuff of legends said "That's not my job - inside or outside" - we then enjoyed one rude server after another mad we weren't eating. Repeatedly being asked if we wanted to eat.

Honestly we had to laugh - the place is a nightmare do yourself a favor and do your part to see it's doors closed - with so many unbelievable choices a half mile away life is too short!

“Terrible service, arrogant owner, bogus wine list!!!!”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

We went as a group of four on a Saturday afternoon and the service (by a European man who said he was the owner) was terrible. His brusque manner was bad enough, but when we ordered an Argentina Pinot Noir called St Julian, they served us something from Chile called Pepperwood. When we pointed this out to the owner, he told us that they had renamed the wine on their menu so it sounded better--what a crock. He then walked away in a huff. The meat and cheese plate was ordered specifically with very little meat and lots of cheese (most of us were vegitarians) and was delivered with mostly meat and 4 small pieces of cheese. When this was pointed out to the waiter, they brought some additional cheese and then had the audacity to charge us an extra $8 for just getting the order straight. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this restaurant unless you really want to get bad attitude, the wrong wine and extra charges to straighten out your order!!!!! Terrible place run by an arrogant man.
