Having had the Best Dim Sum in Chicago on many occasions with a Hng Kong born friend of mine at a restaurant named The Phoenix of all things, I have been searching for an excelllent location for Dim Sum in the Phoenix Arizona area for many years. We would travel occasionally to the Golden Buddha in the Chinese cultural center, unfortunately they are now closed, so we were left without any options until I saw this restaurant listed on a BING search. We were so incredibly happy that we found this location, we visit just about every month. The restaurant is located in a strip mall on the NorthEast corner of 35th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix, which is easy to get to from just about anywhere, with lots and lots of parking. . The decor is dated, nothing to write home about, but the service and the food are OUTSTANDING. Dim Sum is the Chinese version of tapas, yet the portion sizes are very good, usually three to four of each selection per order. You must start with Jasmine tea, then add to your meal selections from the carts which are constantly circulating with Chicken Feet, Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Dumplings, Steamed Duck, Steamed Chicken, egg foo young wraps, sesame rolls, and lots and lots of desserts. You don't have to know what anything is called since the wait staff will show what the cart has to offer. I have never been disappointed and I encourage you to experiment. It is awesome. What is intersting is that most of the customers are chinese families with grandma, grandpa,, mom , dad, and lots of very well behaved children. The staff are all very pleasant and quite attentive. All this and very affordable. My wife and I just ate there and ordered about 14 menu items and the toal with tax was $44.00. They are open at 11 am on weekdays and serve dim sum 9am to 2:30 on Sundays. get there early .
