We are visiting family in Tempe, and have been hearing about amazing grilled corn on the cob in this restaurant. Had the corn the other day (carry out), and it's one of the best once we have ever had! We just got done with their Breakfast. It was the best!!! Although it was busy, the service was great! The fresh squeezed orange juice was to die for!!!

We went for a Saturday brunch. They were extremely busy but seated us promptly on the patio. We waited for what I consider too long before someone came to offer us drinks. We ordered two mimosas. Again, it took a while. When the waitress did arrive with them, one was clearly a mimosa and one looked like just orange juice. She seemed baffled until another server came out and told her he had run out of champagne and she had taken them too soon. He proceeded to pour champagne into the glass of oj on the patio and had to keep brushing the foam off...this actually took a couple of minutes. Kind of unprofessional. There was, again, too much time between the drinks arriving and when the server came back for our order. I ordered the build your own omelet with avocado, mushrooms and cheese with a side of bacon. The food took quite some time to arrive. When it did my side of bacon was missing and I had to ask for it. Luckily it didn't take them too long to deliver the bacon. The omelet was good but the avocado was served on the side...not quite what I had in mind when I ordered an omelet with avocado but it was good so I'll let that one slide. My boyfriend had a burger and seemed to really enjoy it. Although our server was quite nice, there were long breaks between seeing her. I was impressed that the manager came by to ask us how our meal was at one point, a nice touch. All in all, the upsides are: the patio and restaurant are clean and pleasant. They have a large and varied menu and the food was good. The downsides are: really spotty and slow service, too many servers delivering things to your table and inefficient service in general. Granted, they were quite busy and everyone was nice. I want this place to succeed as Ahwatukee is in desperate need of non-chain, non-sports bar places. I would return but I really hope they put an emphasis on more organized and efficient service because that is where they are really lacking.

I was really excited about this restaurant. This place is really cute, and I really wish I had better things to say about it. We went twice. The menu was great - eclectic with a fantastic variety. The food - meh. The service - atrocious. It was as if our server wasn't just inexperienced or apathetic. It was as if he had never been out to eat before. I had to get up and find a water pitcher before we died of thirst. I also had to walk inside to the bar to ask for our check. The couple seated near the bar were also commenting about the bad service. The manager (I think that's what he was) looked irritated that I was asking for the check. When the couple near the bar commented to him about the service, he looked put out and made the excuse that they were between shifts. There were several other "omg I can't believe how bad the service is" moments during our meal. And apparently we care more about their success than they do. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Went for lunch with my spouse at the recommendation of my hair stylist. The menu is a nice mix of traditional American dishes and some unique Mexican street fare items. I had the carne asada torta, the wife had a burger with guacamole and homemade chips. Everything is made fresh from scratch and it's clearly a cut above the usual chain restaurants.

The flip side of the coin is that you pay a little more, and the prices seemed a little high given the odd industrial atmosphere. If you consider yourself a foodie you'll probably be glad you gave it a try.
