We had originally eaten here opening weekend. Although the food had been good the service was lacking. We decided we would definately go back once things got broken in. Last night we had an excellent dinner with excellent service. My lamb dish was out of this world. Other great dishes were mussles and salmon. The atmosphere was lively but you could easily talk to each other. Will definately go back again.

We visited with friends who love this restaurant. The night we were there the service was very slow, and the waiter forgot orders -- and this was midweek. The menu is pretty limited, and if you're not into gourmet food, this place probably isn't for you. I had previewed the menu before arrival, but what I intended to have (butternut ravioli) was not being served that night, though fortunately they did make it upon request. Both my salad and ravioli were delicious; my husband who is not into gourmet had chicken, and while good, thought it was overpriced for what he had.
The atmosphere is nice, and not expected in a strip mall restaurant. Overall, I could go again but wouldn't seek it out, and my husband would NOT go again.

Rusconi's may look like just another restaurant Ina strip mall, but it is not! The menu was diverse with lots of great choices from excellent chicken with truffle Mac and cheese to excellent goat cheese and artichoke dip to incredible dark chocolate bread pudding and home made ice cream. Between the members of our group, we had buffalo sirloin, beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce, pork osso bucolic, and the natural chicken. All of it was very good with well thought out side dishes and excellent flavor and texture combinations. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgable, and actually had a sense of humor. We really enjoyed our meal here and will come back. The only negative I have to note is that during the winter in Phoenix the outdoor porch heaters are not quite strong enough. Otherwise it was a pleasant meal and a restaurant I would go to again I a second.

we are very fortunate to have this local restaurant open up. The food is great, the atmosphere is also very good and the staff and service excellent. They offer a good happy hour too - although its sometimes hard to get in as its so popular. We highly recommend this restaurant.
