“where the hipsters roam....”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Postino winebar is a nice place to have real good finger food such as Bruschetta, cheese tray, small sandwiches and so on...The food is very good, the ingredients are really good quality and the execution very nicely done. Their wine list is fitted for the place and their big time gimmick is $5 glass of decent wine all day until 6 pm, if i recall...Service is always on top of it.The atmosphere is ok, the music is way too loud to allow any kind of conversation and sometime deafening, specially on the patio...the place needs better upkeep, it looks really dirty during the day, when you can actually see....I have one problem, not a big one, more of a Peabody...All they serve in the end is sliced bread with cheese and cold cut on top...that is it, very simple dishes and soups are on the menu, good, but still basic! when people go on and on "how great of a restaurant it is", i wonder if they have ever stepped inside a 'Full-blown" eatery ..."this is the best restaurant in Phoenix"....you need to go out more and dig in your wallet to spend more than $10 on a meal!!The price point is low (bread being the main ingredient here) Postino's operators are smart, they have created a nice business and targeted a broader clientèle base, and the place is well run...I am not as sold as some of the reviewers on the greatness of toasted slice bread and cheese as the ultimate form of gastronomy, overrating this eatery , doesn't render them a service...

“Love, love, love Postino!”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Whenever we are in this area, we got to Postino's! The food is always excellent, with the best and freshest ingredients. Yesterday I had a nice glass of Shiraz, and then the bruschetta. You get to order four different kinds of bruschetta, and they are each cut into four pieces, to you and your friends can share. Fun! They are served on wood cutting boards. We ate on the patio, which was very pleasant. There is a wraparound bar, partly inside and partly out. This place has a fun, urban feel. Consistently good, consistently fun! (I can't really comment on the "bar scene" :))

“Moscato”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

I love Postinos. They have excellent food and the best Moscato anywhere to date. I enjoy the soups and sandwiches. I love the atmosphere and the dogs on the patio. This place is great.

“Overrated.... unfortunately”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

We went because we were told they had great bruschetta and you can have wine by the glass. We had a couple of other eats there too. It would not be on my highly recommended list as this place was very noisy and the "great" bruschetta was just average. I have had much better elsewhere. Have not been back.

“Great for a late night stop”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

My husband and I stopped here at the end of our evening for dessert and wine. It was a perfect night cap.
