“The Farm at South Mountain”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Fresh food to be had at the Farm and home of the ten dollar sandwich. The menu is mostly comprised of soups, salads and sandwiches. Speaking of which, I had the pecan chicken salad sandwich and it was decent. There were quite a few folks with dogs so it is pet friendly. The seating is outdoors, patio style. If you are driving down 32nd street, you will probably drive right by it; just look for a stream of people crossing the street (parking is in an empty lot across the street) and follow the crowd.

“Beautiful Grounds, Fresh Food (a little pricey)”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

We were in the mood for something healthy and fresh, and based on previous reviews, this seemed like the place for us! The grounds were beautiful! We ate at the Farm Kitchen, one of a few restaurants on the grounds. It’s the original restaurant at The Farm serving delicious sandwiches, fresh soups, seasonal salads and made-from-scratch baked goods in picnic baskets. I ordered the Farm Garden Sandwich, which included avocado, sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers, herb mayo, Havarti cheese, and organic field greens on nine-grain bread. Yum-o! We enjoyed our lunch under the shaded patio area. The food was a little pricey, but it usually is when ordering delicious healthy, organic food. I'd absolutely recommend this place, but be prepared, it's a little more expensive than your average lunch. (Although, you get what you pay for- fresh, healthy ingredients.)

“Charming location and Delightful Meal”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

The Farm is a lovely multi-building complex with shops and cafés on site, depending on the meal experience you want. We had brunch at Morning Glory café which has a large outdoor patio. We enjoyed serve yourself coffee and brunch of eggs benedict, a "get back to your roots" dish that featured roasted vegetables with two over-easy eggs on top, and a tex-mex style omelet. The food was delicious, the service was great, and if we lived in the area I can see it being one of our favorite little tranquil spots to go for breakfast or lunch.

“Fresh & Delicious”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

We've heard about this place from several friends and decided to give it a try. The grounds are nice and spacious. You can either eat right on the patio or walk out a little further to picnic tables. It seemed to be dog friendly since many people brought their pooches with them for lunch. It's cafeteria style so you walk through and order drinks, pick up salads, desserts and finally order sandwiches and soup. We ordered two different sandwiches(Tuscan Chicken and Traditional Turkey) and decided to split with the soup of the day. The sandwiches are a bit pricey but well worth it! Everything is "farm" fresh and grown on the property. The turkey and chicken are not cold cuts but fresh diced meat. The Tuscan Chicken was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and I eat a lot of sandwiches! The sandwiches were pretty large and satisfied both of us. The soup of the day was The Three C's. Which was carrot, coconut and curry. It was fantastic!!!! We also tried the country potato salad and pesto pasta salad. Both were pretty good but the potato was much better than the pasta. This is a good place to visit when temperatures are not too cold or hot as there is no indoor seating. Overall, a delightful place and looking forward to returning again soon. Also, there are two other restaurants and a boutique on the property. One is a breakfast restaurant and the other is a dinner. I think we will try both in the near future.

“Delicious fresh food in beautiful gardens”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Bought a groupon and took the family here. The farmhouse cafe is only open for lunch. We ordered our cafe style sandwiches and found a table outside. All ingredients are locally grown/ made and let me tell you DELICIOUS! Sandwiches are a bit costly- 10.00 or more each, but you get what you pay for. I got a vegetarian sandwich on whole grain bread, avacado ,haverti cheese, sprouts and mayo. I would eat that everyday if I could :) the grounds are beautiful with a few quaint shops, pecan groves, citrus trees and veg and flower gardens. It truly is a gem of a
place!
