Tucked in the corner of 32nd Street and Camelback in Phoenix, this restaurant serves a wide selection of great meals.....some of which you might get at home others...not. The staff is excellent along with the wine selection.

“Best Restaurant in Phoenix and Scottsdale!”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

We are foodies and spend every Friday night trying different restaurants in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Tarbell's is our #1 place for reliable great food, service, and wine list. They pride themselves in accommodating your request for meal preferences and even offer half meal options on every item giving you a great opportunity to try many of their sumptuous entrees. The owner Mark, is personable and passionate about his restaurant and the staff represents the same attitude. The atmosphere is unique and upscale so enjoy the entire experience! They have it all whether you are out for a romantic dinner or a business meeting.

“Great food...rushed service”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Numerous people recommended Tarbell's to us on our recent trip to Scottsdale. So...we went. The food, as we anticipated, was excellent. The waitstaff was VERY attentive...but the service was extremely rushed, even when we made it clear we were NOT in a hurry.

Twice we were asked if they could clear our plates (while we were still eating). Then we were asked if they could box up our meals...no! we were still EATING!!

My advice: Do not place your order for any course until you are absolutely ready for it to arrive (pronto-like). Then, hang onto your fork until you are ready for your plate to be cleared.

To end on a positive note, the food was wonderful!

“Best in Phoenix”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

This is our third time at Tarbell's. First of all, don't let the location mislead you. Despite the fact that it's located in an unremarkable strip mall, this is a standout restaurant. The atmosphere is good, if not particularly interesting, more than made up for by the outstanding service and the packed vibe. Additionally, Mark Tarbell, the owner, makes the rounds of the tables, with a genuinely kind, unassuming manner. The food appears to be locally sourced, inasmuch as possible, and is beautifully executed, in thoughtful combinations, and is backed with a deep wine list. Truly, don't waste your time on the plethora of high-priced chains nearby. This is the real deal.

“Very nice - broad menu”
Reviewed January 28, 2014

Staff was very accomodating as our group grew - a table was added with absolutely no problem. Service was very attentive. Courses delivered with appropriate spacing. Food was very good - there are a variety of options. It was hard to choose a first course because there were so many interesting options -- the kale salad was very nice. Food very flavorful. The vegetable plate had a good variety of vegetables - including brussel sprouts which you usually do not see on a veggie plate.
