We stayed a couple of nights here while attending some Diamondback games and it is quiet and decent. There are not many places to eat nearby, maybe around a mile or so and I don't mind walking so it's not too bad. No bar or lounge and I don't expect that at a Super 8 but for a longer trip where you want to relax and hit the lounge or have places to eat close by, there are better choices about a mile to a mile and a half away but be prepared to pay 50.00 and higher per night. For one or two nights it is fine though for a no frills place to stay. The bed was a little on the hard side and the pillows were old, worn out and flat but for one or two night it was ok. Our room was also a little musty smelling but we were not in the room much so it was not a big deal for us. They said the rooms were recently remodeled and they were ok but nothing great. Next time I will go back downtown and pay a little more to get a softer bed with soft fluffy pillows to get better comfort and also get the fitness room, lounge and restaurant on premises.
Thank you. Please come back again.
Clean, nice location, quiet nights.
Wall opening for AC unit 'was not cut to fit the AC.' I could see the outdside walkway through the holes in the walls of both rooms we were moved to. The tub drain appeared clogged, hair in the ice bucket upon entering the second room. (Had to move because of the loose AC unit. Absolutely no childproofing whatsoever. Generally appalled and completely turned off to Super 8 by this experience.
Thank you for your comments. A/C units have become smaller and more efficient over the years like other electronics we use in our lives. Yes the box is larger than the A/c UNIT but to enter into the room through the box is almost impossible. We appreciate you concern.
