We have stayed here many times due to the unique atmosphere, comfy beds, friendly staff, in town location, and restaurant. It is really a nice get away to treat yourself. There is only a few things that I can offer constructively (1) pay for parking, if you are staying there you are parking there. I just believe that you shouldn't have to pay for parking. Possibly, it is a way to offer lower rates, but you are paying a little higher with fees(2) If you are out of comforts (free snacks, which is appreciated) go to Costco and replenish your stock versus we are going to get them in a couple of days (3) Day passes. I think it is admirable to offer this for the community. It is a way to connect and get local business, but when you are staying there and wanting to use the facilities, you are competing with day users. (4) The shower was usable and had hot water, but there was missing parts. (5) Usually, there would be hot scented towels upon arrival and a coupon was offered for a free breakfast, not offered any longer? We do love the place and support local businesses, you are extremely popular which is great to see, don't lose what made you such a unique and wonderful place as it is in the details. It is a treasure. Also, as a native Arizonan, I like that you acknowledge the history of the location. Thank you

I brought my family here from Missouri and was very happy with all the staff. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and large. We were treated with free snacks, water and soda anytime anyone wanted anything. We had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant and the food and service was excellent! Will stay here again if in the Phoenix area again.

Room Tip: Don't go to bed before the band stops at 10 its loud

We stayed 5 nights. Room was very large and comfortable, we had a suite, on the 1st floor which worked out well. Very comfy beds. Rooms cleaned daily. Check in was quick. Got water and snacks from front desk whenever we asked. Pool, hot tub very nice. Rooftop deck was enjoyable as well. Had music 3 nights while we were there. Grocery store and Pharmacy both within walking distance. We ubered downtown and other areas. All worked out fine. All workers very friendly. Restaurant was good but got tired of same stuff after 5 days, more options of food choices would be nice. Drinks quite pricey. Would stay again, recommend the suite. Rooms decorated with nice art. You do get free breakfast if you book through Clarendon, which I thought I did. I'd think after 5 nights, they could have thrown in a free breakfast!

Room Tip: we liked 1st floor, easy to get to pool

Hello badgerfansx3,

Thank you for the great review, it means a lot to our Clarendon Hotel and Spa team. Did you know that our rooftop is open to the public and you don't have to be a guest to enjoy the live music on the roof deck Thursday - Sunday night? We're glad you enjoy our upgraded suite and please come back and visit us again anytime in the future, be sure to contact us directly for a special return rate!

Having made the choice for this hotel as part of Southwest vacations was a good move. Located in a part of town off the beaten path was convenient for local eats and exploring some of the Phoenix things to do. This hotel is a bit odd with its unique color schemes and decorations, but very clean and the customer service was fantastic. Justin helped us all weekend long and I appreciate him for the help. They have a rooftop bar with live music and at night the skyline is just right. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was right on the mark. Their regular lunch and dinner menu is a tad limited, but very good just the same. I will return to this hotel in the future. The pool and large hot tub was a nice relief from the heat and walking we did at the race weekend. If you want an interesting stay go here, if you want 5 star accommodations with the same routine that you would find at home, go someplace else.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view, otherwise your view will be of a parking lot.

We were impressed with clean rooms and super comfortable beds. Only half the pool gets sun so keep that in mind if your looking for a tanning spot. Grocery store only a few blocks away which was nice. They should advertise the roof top bar better because the only way we knew it was there is because of the cool lighting on the roof that can be seen from the street. The hotel restaurant is excellent so make time to try it!
