“Great time, great food!”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

I recently moved to the Phoenix area and Taste It Tours was a fun and unique way for my boyfriend and I to explore my new city. The food was great and the tour covered a lot of interesting landmarks and restaurants. Taking short walks from place to place was a nice way to balance out all of that eating and the variety of food was great. We definitely didn't leave hungry and we learned a lot! Overall, it was a great tour and I would highly recommend it.

“Phoenix...Who New?”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

We have visited the Phoenix area a number of times and we've always given the downtown a pass - never looked too interesting. The folks at Taste It Tours certainly put an end to that myth by uncovering amazing landmarks and stories of Phoeician history. But equally amazing was the food we had on the way; we sampled flatbreads, Southwest BBQ, Irish pub fare, Thai, and great desserts. In each location we were greeted by the owner or manager who introduced us to their business and educated us on their establishment and the food they were serving us. Our guides were fun and energetic and we made new friends over the course of three hours. Come hungry, you won't be disappointed!

We are so glad you had a good time on our tour and we were able to get you in last minute. Downtown has a lot to offer and very few people know that. Our goal was to bring awareness to Downtown Phoenix's fantastic culinary culture and great history. We hope you enjoyed your vacation in Phoenix and hope to see you on a future tour.

“Fun, Easy and the Food was Great!”
Reviewed February 14, 2012

Fun way to explore and learn about downtown Phoenix, while eating great food and sipping libations (loved the Irish Pub). We were 2 of the 16 people from out of town, while ther rest were locals learning new things about their own city. All of us enjoyed the leisurely walk, and the wide variety of the food. Liked the food so much we returned to the Thai location the next day. Have to say one of the most interesting stops was a visit to Westward Ho, a former hotel of the famous, which is now a senior citizens residence, where Chef Dennis explained the history of the hotel. Beautiful day, and a great way to spend it.

Good luck to Jennifer and Jay! This is a new tour but they they have it all together.

Leslie,

We are so glad you and your husband had a great time and it's good to hear that you went back to the Thai restaurant. We love driving new business to our restaurant partners. Being a fairly new tour, and the fact that you and your husband are veteran food tour goers, we really appreciate that you mentioned that we had our stuff together. Our goal is to make sure our customers have the best experience possible on our tours and we are always looking for ways to improve. Hope to see you again on another one of our tours next time you are in Phoenix.

“Very fun way to get to know Phoenix. Even the natives enjoyed it!”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

Jessica was engaging and delightful right from the start. Her good humor and enthusiasm was contagious, quickly turning a group of strangers into friends with a common purpose. Phoenix weather offered a brilliant welcome to our out-of-town guests, and the restaurants offered outstanding representations from their respective menus. (The cocktails offered just the right amount of social lubricant too!) We are grateful for the experience and will undoubtedly add these restaurants to our queue of favorites when we dine out in the future.

Nancy,

We are so glad that you joined us on our tour and had a great time. We always love it when we have natives on the tour and expose them to some of the wonderful restaurants we feature in Downtown Phoenix. Please tell all of your friends, family & co-workers about our tour and look for us to add more tours in the near future.
