“Nice patio for a glass of wine”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

We only saw the patio at Timo, but enjoyed the atmosphere on the patio with a drink with some friends. Fast service and heavy pours, always a good combination. We did not eat but the menu looked good with some unique small plates.

“Great Patio”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

If you like dining Al fresco, Timo is hard to beat on a balmy 85 degree night in Phoenix. Located uptown it is a quiet setting. Good beer and wine selection by the glass and they had one for my favorite IPA ales. Service was excellent and the bruschetta appetizers first class. The main meals were hit and miss: chicken had to much lemon, vegetable lasagna a little to salty and the margarita pizza not enough topping (too much crust). Would definitely recommend for happy hour drinks and food.

“A Little Gem”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

We ate outside on Timo's charming patio but the interior is also modern & inviting. As it was Restaurant Week, we had 3 courses: an appetizer lamb chop (delicious), a short rib tajine (wonderful) and a chocolate creme brulee with brandied cherries & whipped cream (outstanding). The Ceibu wine from Argentina was also excellent. We will definitely be back to try their wood-fired pizzas & flatbreads, tapas and of course, more wine! This restaurant/wine bar is a little difficult to find but worth the effort!

“Cool restaurant-wine bar, great staff”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We discovered Timo Wine Bar thanks to AZ Restaurant Week. Would never have gone in there otherwise because it doesn't look like much from outside, but behind the restaurant, there is a really beautiful patio under the trees with tables and comfy sofas for dining and enjoying wine while relaxing with friends We dined outside, but peeking into the restaurant, the decor is really cool. It's a wine bar but we went for the food and it was top notch. I had the lamb chop appetizer, salmon and creme brulee, All very nicely done. And the staff are very friendly and on top of it, even though it was fairly busy and there were only two servers taking care of everyone. Highly recommend this place!
