We enjoyed our stay here when we attended a University of Phoenix Graduation about 30 minutes away. The room was very clean and pretty well maintained. Even though the day time temperatures were in the 110 F degree range, the room was always cool and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good, but don't wait until "closing time" as the crowd seem to arrive about 30 minutes prior to that. The pool was excellent and the hot tub, very hot. The evening reception did offer a nice selection of drinks, but the snacks consisted of only pretzels and goldfish crackers. Many dining choices are also close by.

Good value if you can get <$100! Good breakfast, the suites are nice, but the snacks are poor, the internet is expensive, and the service is mediocre! The gym is very good so is the business center! The Embassy in NYC is much better, but I cannot compare!

This hotel is in a good location, but I was expecting more. The website makes it sound like a perfect place, but it is an average hotel, but the rooms are very nice and clean. Don't visit the 3rd floor, it is very smoky!

First, let's talk location.

This Embassy Suites is smack on a private golf course in Paradise Village, an attractive, nicely landscaped, planned community of residences (private homes and condos) and mid-level shopping (Macy's, Target, etc.) and dining (Coco's, e.g.) on the Scottsdale _side_ of Phoenix.

In real estate terms, it's "Scottsdale adjacent". It's not "Scottsdale" in the way people mean it when they say "Scottsdale" with stars in their eyes.

That said:

Clean and well run. Quiet. Rooms with golf course views have dead on views of Camelback Mountain in the near distance. Nice pool and hot tub. Free parking.

Rooms and amenities, incl. full, hot, cooked-to-order breakfast are standard Embassy Suites. Hotel that appears to have been fully renovated within the last year or so.

Know what you're getting, and you'll be quite happy here.
