Stayed at JW for the weekend and the experience was amazing. Great staff, bars, and restaurants. This was my second stay at a JW and from Phoenix to Orlando they provide a five star experience. I’ll definitely be back.

We have come here two years in a row from new zealand for a conference and had a great time. We have young children (ages 1-6) and find it very family friendly. The pools and the lazy river are so much fun. The family activity center open in the afternoons is a particular highlight for us - its a nice change of scenery from the pool and a cool place to hang out with the kids. The women that work there are wonderful and welcoming. The children made pinatas, ice cream, decorated cupcakes and played bingo among many other activities. We also really loved the evening kids movie out by the pool and the toasting marshmallows round the campfire. All these extras elevate the trip that little bit - creating really wonderful lasting memories for us as a family.
We hired a car one day and went to lego land nearby which i would recommend highly to any families with young kids.
I am vegan and there wasn't a great choice in the resort - there was the impossible burger available at the poolside which was awesome but the restaurant vegan option (cauliflower steak) was inedible. At breakfast they seemed really put out by my request and came out with a plate of steamed vegetables which wasn't what i had in mind for a vegan breakfast - so if you are vegan just bring some snacks to keep you going and don't expect too much. There is a Target nearby at the mall and a fridge in the room.

Went to a conference for work here. I self parked for free (gates weren’t working). Rooms were elegant and spacious. The convention space was laid out well. The hotel bar had great service along with drinks outside at the fire pits. I didn’t get a chance to use the water park. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel/convention space. They gave me a late checkout (1 pm) that allowed me to change out of my business attire before going to the airport. Truly a 5 circle resort - highly recommend.

We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary, great sense of arrival experience, Zach at the front desk remembered our anniversary and sent us up an amenity with champagne. While at the fun lazy river, had stellar service by Travis who remembered our names and what we liked to drink. Would definitely return and highly recommend to others while in Phoenix.

My wife and I stayed here while she was at a conference and I went to baseball games. We like Marriott properties. So, we were glad to know we would be staying at this property. This place is extremely nice. The landscaping is awesome. The pool is nice and the golf course is also nice.
There are just a few logistical things I didn’t care for.
1. We chose to self park. The parking lot is a long walk from the lobby. There is a valet option but the hotel room rate was already outrageous so we chose self park. We got our exercise going to and from the car.
2. The check in desk is off to the side. You walk in the lobby and we were looking for the desk. It was around the corner to the right.
3. Our adult son was with us so we needed two beds. Most hotels today have queen beds. This place had two full size beds. It was a bit tight for my wife and I.
4. Did I mention it was expensive.
Overall, the property is nice but there were some issues that I would have to consider if I was back in the area and needed a place to stay.
