Where do they get these nice people who work here? Emily at the front desk greeted us warmly and provided us with an excellent room, overlooking Roy's and the other outdoor restaurants. Everyone here really seemed to be genuinely nice people, from the servers to the pool attendants. They were intensely interested in our comfort and well being The room was clean, well equipped, and modern. The grounds were well-kept. The landscaping and water features were wonderful. Tennis, golf, lazy river pool, bikes, fitness room were all first class. It will be tough to leave tomorrow and return back east!

My family and I stayed here for a week in February. There were a few glitches but "At Your Service" took care of them immediately. They checked and rechecked to be sure that all had been taken care of and even sent "goodies" one afternoon. The restaurants on the property are good; there's even a full scale Starbucks which is a great place for a light breakfast. There are lots of comfy chairs both inside and out. The first floor lounge area gets quite noisy when there's a conference in the hotel. Noise from the outdoor area around the fire pits can be quite loud in the evening and can be heard in the rooms. We were in room 5405 and could hear the music with the doors closed. But, the view from this room was lovely. We also had room 5417 which had a slightly different view and less noise from the fire pit area.
Towels could be fluffier but everything else was great!

Room Tip: See notes above - 5405 has a great view but gets a bit too much noise in the evening.

Beautiful hotel in public areas but rooms are average. Service is spotty, housekeeping is excellent as well as maintenance but valet service is awful. It is too rushed and they act like its an assembly line. Enjoyed dining at the Blue Sage as well as Roy's. Not so much the pool restaurant but room service is above average. It is a great resort for families. Very crowded when they have conventions especially in the lobby areas.

It's top notch all the way. Good restaurants and nothing to complain about at all. If you read any bad reviews I would be very suspect. I was there five days and bever heard anyone at the front desk griping. Valets are very quick. Call ahead and your car will be waiting on you. No choas what so ever at the front end of the hotel.

So this is a typical, giant resort in arizona. Everything is nicer than a normal resort, and the prices reflect that (you get what you pay for). However, the overall amenities of this resort suit families more than conferencees, yet the place is overrun with conferences. Anytime you have a lazy river and waterslide, you would imagine a family type resort. Also, the bar scene here is fairly non-existant, so again, family oriented. With the great weather, I would expect a huge outdoor bar scene, however, that is not the case. It is very plain. Yet the customers seemed to demand a better bar presence outside, given the packed b ar setting at 10pm at night on a wednesday. The room was nice, with a cool view and patio. The staff are all totally friendly. I've stayed at afew other AZ resorts....I would go here with my family and the places like the Fairmont Princess for business.

A great experience... food at Roys was amazing, had the fish trio, sushi was also terrific. The entire property is beautiful with fires everywhere, beautiful seats and lovely gardens. Amazing, one night they had snow... crazy. The staff is very attentive. And, I think I could stay in the large bathrooms for days. Large tub, stand up shower, and large towels. Thanks again...
