I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice for business. The setting is incredibly beautiful and the amenities are outstanding. I love the fire, water and earth elements of this hotel. Our room was gorgeous as was our view of the pools.

Whether you are traveling with kids, for business, or a romantic getaway, this is the resort of your dreams! Restaurants, shopping, activities, pools-- this place has it all and don't forget the spa. My husband and I can't wait for our upcoming return trip to the Phoenix area where we'll be sure and visit this resort. My favorite thing about this resort is the lazy river and the pools that cater to everyone. You can have peace and quiet and enjoy the sun, or you can take the family on tubes down a sunny, warm water ride. There are plenty of places to be away from the kids if you want to enjoy the pool and poolside seating. Great service by the pool bar and restaurant. This place has it all!

Welcoming staff, good service in a huge hotel with really nice decorations.
Food was excellent even if they had to serve all of us (1300) at the same time.
Room was nice and clean, beds comfortable.
Pool area looked wonderful although it was too cold for us to use it a lot (but pools were well heated).
Gym and running trails for your daily excercise.
Close to a shopping mall was convenient.

This is just a fabulous resort!!!!!! The views are incredible. Within hours of checking in you will feel the stress you came with lifted. Not sure why but the temperature, quality of the air, no bugs, stars at night just relax you so much. The resort facilities are outstanding I only wish the seminar was a month long so I could have stayed longer. Put this location on your radar for a winter get away.

Overall the hotel is very nice. Very clean and service very good. The reason i am giving this review a poor rating is due to experience (multiple times) I had in the restaurant Blue Sage. The restaurant has a bird problem. There are numerous birds that fly in from the main atrium and eat the food that is either on uncleared tables or from the breakfast buffet. I complained to management, but they seemed nonchalant about the problem. I spoke to the front desk manager, and he had no clue about the problem. The food service manager i spoke with admitted they had a problem, but had an excuse for it making it seem as though if other hotels were having the same problem, then it was okay for the Marriott to have the issue. Very disappointed. I would not eat in this restaurant as it is very unsanitary.

Room Tip: I suspect any room you will find appropriate.
