“Wonderfully relaxing!”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Everything about my week at the hotel was lovely. So many things to do. Shopping is a warm 15 minute walk. Several different pools to choose from. Pool service top notch, but expensive. Next time I will have to check out the spa. Love the grounds for a morning walk, especially the garden. Spotted a couple huge hawks hanging out in the quiet morning.

Room Tip: If you need quiet, don't take the rooms overlooking the entertainment patio.

Traveled for a business conference last week. Really nice property. Really high marks for service all around. Food and beverage options are definitely top end in terms of quality and variety. Rooms were very nice. Views are fairly impressive. just know that the area appears to be in the midst of growth, development, and or construction..I'll leave it at that. The layout of the hotel takes a little getting used to, but once you figure the grounds out....it sort of comes together nicely. Really impressed with hotel. Would consider holding a conference here. And the Spa received rave revies. The workout facilities...ummm...not so much. But most of your true road warriors are going to do what we did...take advantage of the weather and views...and run outside.

Wonderful reception from everyone that created us upon arrival. The three nights continued well from there. The place is huge and can easily handle large conventions. and with three swimming pools, families of all ages. The restaurants are all great. The rooms are large and exquisitely decorated. The price isn't too good, but the decor and facilities warrant the price.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained facilities, able to handle multiple conferences of which i was attending one, with aplomb. Would definitely go back just to get R&R if in the area. Food tasty and reasonable prices.

Room Tip: Anything overlooking the pool and garden area is lovely.

2nd time staying here. Resort living at it's best. Good customer service. Beautiful sprawling resort. Excellent for hiking and jogging.Fitness center well equipped. Has a Roy's restaurant on property along with a Starbucks and nice shops. Rooms are really large. The size of suites in other hotels. Also very close to airport and other sites around Phoenix. Strongly recommend this place.

Attended a conference here, stayed in the executive suite. Ultra comfortable beds, great food, friendly employees. Only downside, one of the busiest convention nights, the bar closed at 12:00 on a Thursday night which forced a bunch of people to go off property for libations. I would return on a family vacation the lazy river and pools are great.

I stayed here for a few days to attend a conference that took place at the hotel.
It is not near the airport. I took a cab that cost over $80. For my return flight I asked the front desk for options. They were very gracious and had available either a reserved car or a shared car. I opted for a shared ride for $24. No one else had booked for the same time so I rode solo in a Town car. Much more confortable than the taxi and cheaper! Though the hotel seemed far out of town, it is across from a large mall that has everything!
The hotel is huge and walking from one end to another can take some time do if you know which facilities you want to be close to , ask for that location. The outside is beautiful, especially the pool area which has several pools for all ages including a lazy river and a pool with a basketball hoop. There are hot tubs spread throughout in private areas you might cross a bridge to.
The rooms are not unlike many Marriotts; big, comfortable, great sheets and duvets, and lots of plugs for electronics.
The convention center, attached to the hotel , is huge and could be anywhere. It lacks some of the southwest feel you see in other parts of the hotel.
Overall great place. Next time I might bring the family.
