2nd time staying here. Resort living at it's best. Good customer service. Beautiful sprawling resort. Excellent for hiking and jogging.Fitness center well equipped. Has a Roy's restaurant on property along with a Starbucks and nice shops. Rooms are really large. The size of suites in other hotels. Also very close to airport and other sites around Phoenix. Strongly recommend this place.

Attended a conference here, stayed in the executive suite. Ultra comfortable beds, great food, friendly employees. Only downside, one of the busiest convention nights, the bar closed at 12:00 on a Thursday night which forced a bunch of people to go off property for libations. I would return on a family vacation the lazy river and pools are great.

I stayed here for a few days to attend a conference that took place at the hotel.
It is not near the airport. I took a cab that cost over $80. For my return flight I asked the front desk for options. They were very gracious and had available either a reserved car or a shared car. I opted for a shared ride for $24. No one else had booked for the same time so I rode solo in a Town car. Much more confortable than the taxi and cheaper! Though the hotel seemed far out of town, it is across from a large mall that has everything!
The hotel is huge and walking from one end to another can take some time do if you know which facilities you want to be close to , ask for that location. The outside is beautiful, especially the pool area which has several pools for all ages including a lazy river and a pool with a basketball hoop. There are hot tubs spread throughout in private areas you might cross a bridge to.
The rooms are not unlike many Marriotts; big, comfortable, great sheets and duvets, and lots of plugs for electronics.
The convention center, attached to the hotel , is huge and could be anywhere. It lacks some of the southwest feel you see in other parts of the hotel.
Overall great place. Next time I might bring the family.

Had to go to a business meeting here and found the resort to be not only business friendly, but also would be very family friendly as well. Numerous pools, lazy river, golf course and conveniently located next to Desert Ridge shopping center. A short walk to the shopping center and you'll find plenty of restaurants, shops, Dave & Busters and a movie theater. The staff at the Marriott was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would not hesitate to go back to this resort!

The front desk man went out of his way to tell us that we would have a great view. So having no view at all was adding insult to injury. Got a first-floor handicapped room, which might have been more useful to someone who was handicapped. Roy's fusion food was subpar. I ordered blackened fish. It was somehow blackened on the outside but not cooked at all on the inside. While working out at the jammed workout facility this morning (accessible only by going outside), staff opened the sliding doors at 6 a.m. Which was nice except it was 45 degrees. OK on to day two. Let's see what it brings. Currently in 1128. Don't accept this room. (PS the bed had a dip on one side!)

I came here for a wedding and had to stay a bit longer due to Sandy. Very well-maintained, sprawling resort with beautiful pools, good food, and helpful staff. A variety of restaurants and different areas, indoor and outdoor, to gather and relax. Rooms were modern and well-appointed.

Excellent adult and family resort. Hotel is connected to the Wildfire Golf Club which boasts two excellent courses, a Palmer and a Faldo course, You can access the golf shop through the hotel. The hotel property includes several large pools, a lazy river with a small slide and two outside hot tubs. The pool bar and cafe offers various lunch items and features the Kokopelli Cabana Colada with 3 types of rum. If you like a refreshing desert-type drink, this one is excellent. The resort also has an excellent spa with a small cafe and its own secluded and quiet adults-only pool. The complex is located a very short distance from the Desert Ridge Mall that offers various casual restaurants, shops, movie theater etc. Many guests take advantage of the the 4 pm to 6 pm happy hour at Roy's offering reduced price drinks and appetizers sitting around a fire pit under the stars.

Room Tip: We prefer a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor overlooking the pool area in the center of the complex. No...
