What was supposed to be one nights layover in Phoenix became a 10 day stay! As soon as I arrived I felt so welcome.
HI Phoenix gave me a much needed break after traveling for 2 and a half months. It was home away from home. The staff are wonderful, thanks Kate, Keith, Katie-Anne & Mary! A great balance of party and chill out time, as well as an opportunity to meet so many other guests!
I will be back, and hopefully next time I can do a work exchange and stay longer! :D

I only stayed for three nights, but is was very nice. I arrived later in the evening and entered a beatiful lit front garden. The little lights really made it cosy. The inside is also very cosy, it is a little home away from home. People are very friendly and everything is clean. The beds are good, matras was a little hard but okay. One night there was a lot of noise due to one of the guests, but overall I had a very nice stay. You also have the chance to cook along in the evening, which is fun when you travel alone!

Loved the friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Had a complete kitchen and great room where guests were encouraged to meet and mingle. Terrific location in downtown Phoenix. I will be sure to return whenever my travels take me back to the southwest.

I cannot say enough about the positive experience while at this hostel. The staff is totally engaging with evenings of movie watching, popcorn and cookie making, communal dinners, and hand holding through the local art and music scene. Amenities on site...kitchen, reading room, sleeping quarters, outside garden sitting areas, all add to the quality of this experience. The new light rail public transit system that runs through Phoenix is a short walk away giving you access to a vast array of possibilities. Highly recommended hostel...

Room Tip: Personally I really dug the cab over camper in the rear yard...yeah, you read right ! Ask about it...

Throw away your hotel booking and check in here! I discovered this gem a few years ago when I was doing a trade show at the AZ fairgrounds. It's a super clean funky house staffed by the best, friendliest people on the planet! And the people who stay there are some of the most interesting, fun loving folks I've ever met It's like a home away from home only better because they wash the sheets. If you want to meet Reel people and have Reel adventures when you're in Phoenix, this is the place to be. Say "HI!" to Mary and Keith for me...))

This hostel is located in a house that has been converted to a hostel. Its located in the arts district in phoenix which has small art galleries, and a variety of eateries. Taking public transportation can be rough in the summer. There is a local bus stop nearby, but the frequency is lacking in phoenix the times I've stayed here i've just used the light rail and walked from the roosevelt stop.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommned this place and will be back for the next visit.
