Description: Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here. The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes seasonal American cooking in dishes such as pork osso buck confit, creamy grits and spicy andouille sausage with mustard jus, short ribs with mashed potatoes and grilled cheese. Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett's Table mandate: Come Together.

After seeing the review on "Check Please" we went to Becketts Table the next Friday we were free. I loved it, my husband wasn't as excited as I. I thought the menu was wide and varied with plenty of fresh vegetables offered. He is more of a heavy duty carnivore than I. It was a friendly neighborhood restaurant with a great menu. You should definitely try it, it's a keeper.

This was a first visit to Beckett's Table for us out-of-towners. The restaurant's business card went into my pocket for our Scottsdale/Phoenix file for places to which we want to return. The food was flavorful and specialty drinks were good. Casual atmosphere. Friendly staff.

This is a noisy, happy restaurant where people seem to have lots of fun. We returned to Phoenix and to this restaurant after a year's absence and again had a great time. The staff is quick and skilled and is great at answering questions about the menu. The specialty cocktails are interesting, as are the choices of beers and ales. Our favorites among the apps were the crows dairy peppered feta salad and the tuna poke, also the roasted Brussels sprouts with pancetta. We skipped the grilled cheese and tomato soup this time but it's an excellent app to share. Our salad choices were all really good, especially the vegetable chopped salad. Our friend, formerly of New Orleans, swears by the shrimp and grits entree. I found the green chile pork stew to be spicy, rich and delicious, and the beef short ribs and rare seared tuna were also very much enjoyed. For dessert we had the toasted coconut cake (what a hunk!) with brown butter ice cream, also the fig and pecan pie with cheesecake ice cream-excellent, not as sweet as straight pecan pie, much enhanced by the figs. We were all intrigued by the chocolate dipped bacon s'mores but, sadly, didn't actually order them. I hope someone will comment on them and let us know how they were. Four of us ate and drank hugely and the bill, including tax and tip, came out to $295-very reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the food, the large size of the portions and the excellent service. We will definitely return on our next Phoenix trip.

Thank you Chef, Justin Beckett, for such out of the beaten path food. A very talented young Chef that marries the flavor of ingredients to a delight to the palate.

A mix of delicious food, local bistro ambiance, choice of music and great service make Beckett's Table a place to go back to. I can understand that some people are not getting the it because the it is not your usual cuisine. The food is prepared by a Chef that puts a lot of thoughts at mixing the ingredients so you can experience and enjoy "the difference". Give it a try!

Chef Justin Beckett has a great place! I wish this place was open for lunches! I'd be meeting all of my friends there!! We have never had a thing to complain about! The wait staff is very polite and attentive. The food is delish! Much of the ingredients are local, and Sunday evenings Arizona wines are half price!
