“Great way to spend a few hours with your toddlers and pre-teens”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We have been visiting Children's Museum for about 4-5 months now on their first Friday of the month, since this is the only time the museum is open after-work hours.

Although the wait time is very long and it is very crowded during these hours, If you have patience it is worth the wait. Or you can always take a day off and go during their normal operating hours.

They have some great activities for young children. The indoor maze/play area is alot of fun and my kids never want to leave it. The toddler area is also fun for your little ones to run around without you having to worry too much about them as entrance and exit are always attended by someone who makes sure none of the toddlers run out on their own.

They also have some fun interactive areas, including pretend play areas. Another great attraction for kids is the air powered cloth tissue handkerchief shooters. This keeps my kids occupied for at least an hour at a time.

Overall a great place to visit and spend a few hours. But as i mentioned, be ready to wait for entrance if you go on the free friday.

“Great Museum”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

We went on a First Friday where admission was free so it was PACKED. We stood in line in the heat for about 2 hours. We should have been more prepared. The kids loved it we had 2 toddlers. Prices in shop were a little pricey. Would definitely go again!

“Lots of fun for kids of all ages”
Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

Kids love the waterworks area on the first floor. Second floor was an interactive science/medical exhibit with lots of hands on exhibits. Very similar to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. We saw the Di Vinci traveling exhibit which was excellent.
