This hotel is sparkling new with a terrific staff. I loved the European style breakfast (recommended) with choice of lattes/cappuccinos. Happening bar area at night and nice touches, I.e. nightly lavendar sachets available in lobby. Location is also convenient to everything.

We caught a cheap rate here on January 1 before our flight out of Phoenix. Very relaxing vibe in that there is self-parking versus the chaos of valets when you check in. Everything is easy here. Room is sleek and modern with all the conveniences. Firm bed, very nice new bathroom/shower. Lovely pool area (didn't try the pool at 38-degree air temperature) and well-stocked workout area. We didn't sample the bar or the beautiful breakfast, but both looked very appealing. Lobby is restful but could be a stylish social scene on a busy night.

Room tip: Request the view you want--over the pool, mountain, etc.

We were in a room facing the road and it was very noisy even at night. Not to mention our neighbour who was listening to TV awfully loud. But to be fair, the walls seem so thin that you could hear anyone. We had to call reception and they were very nice and offered breakfast. The breakfast is at $16 per adult but it’s honestly not worth it. Limited options.

Spent two nights at this hotel, using it as a central location for exploring Phoenix in preparation for a move to the Valley. Centrally located for our purpose. New, modern hotel - our room had a view to the north that was great. Everything about the room was modern, clean and comfortable. Adequate fitness facility and pool. Fantastic outdoor courtyard with fire pits. Service at desk and bar was outstanding - always a smile and willing to share suggestions and insight. Location afforded multiple dining options very nearby from casual to outdoor to upscale to fine dining. Isaiah - front office manager - was extremely helpful in answering specific questions in advance. Never noticed any of the noise issues noted in other reviews.

All in all, absolutely can't find a single fault with this hotel for what we needed and wanted for this trip. When we need a hotel for future travel for ourselves or family to the area we'll definitely look here first.

Room tip: Room on north had great view and is close (above) the street but we didn't notice a noise problem.

Great, and still sporting the new hotel smell. Good location -- walk to shopping and restaurants -- and free parking. Friendly service from housekeeping to the front desk (Daisy's a rockstar). Food and drinks are great (Marcus will take good care of you). Rooms can feel a little sterile (standard rooms are on the cozy side -- larger suites are, well, sufficiently large), and the seating in the room isn't nearly as comfortable as the bed. Lobby space (or the tables outside) is a better place to hang out, anyway.

Room tip: Interior (pool) facing rooms minimize traffic noise from Camelback Rd.
