We stayed here for baseball and to visit my son at GCU. Breakfast team, front desk guys everyone was friendly. Our upgrade to a jacuzzi room for being a rewards member was beyond anything we expected. Thank You!!This is a perfect time of the year to stay in Phoenix.

Stayed March 7 and 8, 2014 while I went for Dodgers Spring Training. This Hotel is Average at best. Location is right off Camelback Rd and HWY 17. Beds were stiff, bedding was nothing to write home about. Room, of average size, still had old tube TV. Shower could have used a better cleaning. The area isn't the greatest, but I didn't feel unsafe.
The skinny: If you want to save money and will just use the room to sleep, then book it. Spend the savings on your vacation (like we did). IF you are expecting a nice room (and better hotel), then stay at a more upscale hotel (and spend a few more bucks). Complimentary breakfast in am was fair. Hard to mess up coffee, yogurt, waffle, toast, and bagels, etc... Go DODGERS!

Room Tip: Rooms closer to Highway 17 are probably noisy. We faced the Pool on the 1st floor. I don't think...

We were happy with everything about our stay. Comfortable king size bed. Sam was excellent at the front desk. Joanna was a friendly hostess serving breakfast. Enjoyed the afternoon popcorn snack served in the lobby. Used the lobby computer to print our flight tickets which saved us time and money at the airport. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Phoenix.

We were in town for a funeral and chose Quality Inn despite the low ratings, mostly due to location. Booked two rooms - a King and a double Full. I’m not sure what all the complaints are about. Sure, it’s not the Ritz, but for the price it’s quite a bargain. We were more than satisfied with every aspect of our stay. For about the same price as a Motel 6 you get much better accommodations, a more competent/friendly staff, and breakfast. We look forward to staying here on our next visit to Phoenix.

PROS:
Large rooms
Comfortable beds
Very, very clean
Large bathroom counter
Plenty of hot water
Table and chairs in room
Good lighting
Lots of free parking
Evening staff is outstanding – especially Mike and Sam
Decent selection at breakfast buffet

CONS:
Weird square bed pillows are uncomfortable to sleep on
Water pressure could be better
Rooms short on electrical outlets
Day staff is not as friendly (but still very competent)
No snack vending machines – just drinks
Check-out time is 11:00am instead of noon

Room Tip: The stairs and elevators are basically at the ends of the building. If you want to avoid a longer wa...

We stayed at the quality inn traveling from CA to TX during Christmas time, and again on the way back. We checked in fairly late, but Michael at the front desk was very cheerful and accommodating.

My fiance recently had knee surgery. Our original room was on the third floor (no elevators). when I explained the situation to Michael, he upgraded us to a 1st floor room at no extra charge.

Over all the hotel was clean and comfortable.

We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

So we booked 3 rooms for Friday-Sunday Morning. The check in Friday night with Sam was really good and he is a great person to be a front desk clerk. We booked the rooms online with 1 credit card but when we checked in we gave Sam the credit card info that we wanted to pay for our rooms with. The rooms were ok for the price we paid, it was kind of hard to find out how you enter the property and when you did get on the property it was a little scary looking but since it was late when we arrived we decided to just check in. We didn't spend much time at our rooms since we were just in town for Monster Cup. When it cam time to check out Sunday morning we had to deal with Angela!!! Very rude lady, when we asked for a copy of our charges she said she couldn't give us one because we booked online, when we told her how it was booked then she said she could give a copy of the charges. About this time another guest must have been calling to complain because she was very rude to the lady on the phone and hung up on her. She then said the person on the phone was an "Idiot" and "she didn't understand what her problem was". At that time we were looking at our charges and we noticed the credit card info was wrong and we began telling Angela and she blew us off because the guest that she just called an "Idiot" was calling back to complain again and at that time Angela walked away from us and began telling the person on the phone that she was going to call the cops on the guest. We drove back to Flagstaff and I called and Angela answered the phone and I asked to talk to the manager on duty. She said that they weren't in, when I began to ask her why they charged the wrong card and that I wanted to make sure both cards don't get charged she got snotty with me and said that she didn't do anything wrong and that I need to call on Monday and talk with Gary. When I began to tell her that I wasn't pointing the figure at her she hung up on me. This is a very badperson for this hotel and as a GM of a Restaurant if she was my employee and talked to my guest like that she wouldn't have a job. I will be calling Gary just to make sure they don't double charge me for this bad stay.

We have stayed here many times over last 3 years and in the last 6 months the service has declined. Unexplained extra charged, HBO that works part of the time only, we have to beg for a microwave or refrigerator at a $70/night rate and old TV sets with mismatched remotes. As a Diamond member .. I can say with certainty .. this place is going down hill quickly.
