“Quiet for a Sheraton”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

The hotel is in the downtown area but is not on a main venue as far as lots of traffic. I even got metered street parking across the street from the hotel. The hotel is up to the Sheraton Standards but doesn't stand out as anything special. I was there on a day off and ended up going to a movie complex right across the street with 24 theatres. Also, several decent restaurants right across the street from the hotel.

We certainly appreciate your business and your feedback, but were a bit disappointed to hear that we did not really “stand out as anything special”, during your stay.

May we suggest the next time that you may stay with us that you connect with our Concierge desk and ask them to orient you to the amenities within the hotel, as well as any activities going on in the downtown area? Even visiting our pool and bar area on the 4th floor can be a very nice way to end the day in a peaceful and relaxing setting…

In any case, we hope you will return for another visit. We would love another opportunity to create some memorable moments and connections with you…

Warm Regards,

Rooms Management

the décor of the room was nice. just get confused around the guest elevator area which had two hallways to reach different floor (1-17) & (18-26) the outdoor lap pool was ok. The lobby coffee place was closed on Saturday afternoon which was weird. It seemed the hotel had less clienteles during weekend. Maybe it was in downtown area.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay. I know what you mean about the elevators sometimes being confusing since there are two sets of them. Our staff is always happy to help point you in the right direction.

If you found the city to be a tad quiet when you were here, get ready! We are going into our prime time season, which is a very exciting time to experience downtown activities and events.

Our District Lounge will also have live music every night during the season and everyone seems to enjoy that. We hope you will choose to come back and stay with us again.

Warm Regards,

The restaurant was far better than the usual restaurant fare. The common areas and rooms were immaculate. The best part was the very professional and helpful staff. Also nice gym and pool. Close to some shopping and other alternatives for meals

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with some feedback. We’re delighted to hear that your stay was so satisfactory.

Our restaurant fare is not “the usual” because we have such a talented culinary team, thank you for noticing. They not only pay attention to seasonality in menu planning, but they grow and nuture a rooftop herb garden here, where many of the vegetables and herbs from the garden are incorporated into dishes served in the restaurant! We even have an urban cultivator, which is our own special indoor herb garden.

Thank you for choosing us during your visit to Phoenix, we would love to welcome you back again soon!

A typical sheraton in downtown Phoenix which is the location I would stay if you don't have a car. The hotel is near the baseball stadium and tram.

The swimming pool could be better and the bar wasn't great although there are loads near by.

Good hotel overall.

We do have a great location, don’t we? We actually love being in the center of the downtown area right in the middle of everything. During our fall, winter and springtime, we become a great walking city. It sounds as if you had the time to explore a bit yourself when you were here.

We very much appreciate both your business and your feedback. We would love another opportunity to be of service again in the future.

Warm Regards,

Mattresses very firm, no breakfast available (at least not that we could find.). Lovely view of mountains from our room. Concierge seems to disappear and remainder o staff aren't very knowledgeable. Room service food not bad and Uncharacteristically reasonable prices

Hi Jamie,

We are so sorry that you needed some direction and could not find anyone to help you.
Even if our concierge had stepped away, other staff members can and should be available to step in and help – we appear to have fallen short in that regard for you!

We genuinely appreciate that you chose our hotel for your stay while visiting our city and we would love to be able to welcome you back and provide the kind of exceptional service that the Sheraton Phoenix is known for –

Thank you again for your business. We look forward to your return.

Warm Regards,

Central location with all the amenities you'd expect. It would work for families too, but particularly well suited for business. I arrived as part of a large group, but check-in was still very quick, friendly, and efficient.

Lots of central meeting space downstairs in the open lobby. Bar staff was very attentive in the evenings. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Room Tip: worth asking for a room with a good view

The Sheraton downtown Phoenix is my new base of operations! Awesome staff! Starbucks in the room! Walk to all restaurants and attractions. Bottled water in the room. The staff cannot be more helpful and accommodating. They made setting up my travel to PHX for business so convenient, easy and affordable all at a luxury level of service.
