Drove through the park with my son and discovers one of the vantage points to see the entire valley. Go at dusk and enjoy the sunset.

Its a great hike. We hiked by the welcome center. And also went to the summit. And also hiked by buena vistia. Take a backpackers with water bottles. We took 5 litters of water. It was 109. But know your limit.we will comeback. For more wonderful sightseeing. Take lots of pictures.and have fun.

There are so many trails here and one of the most fun is "Fatmans Pass." There is a huge boulder that has cracked in 2 and you can shimmy through it. It looks like you couldn't possibly get through, but you can. And if you're nervous, just go over the top! lol It is such a great hike and you seem to go through a few echo systems. It's awesome and great for kids also.

My wife and I have come many times. On weekends a lot of people come, but there is usually parking somewhere. On weekdays, you have your choice of parking. The hiking is easy to moderate (we're over 49), and there are some peaks to challenge or some nice lengthy walks not too strenuous at all. Great views if you get to the tops. There are several entrances spread many miles apart, so you can find different kinds of hikes -- never boring. Bring water (always in AZ anyway, but be sure you do :-) Very basic restrooms on site, so, um, maybe plan ahead? This park is great to take out of town visitors for a light to moderate hike -- especially if they are unfamiliar with the Southwest and desert conditions, they will enjoy this good introduction.

I used the buldings as a back-drop for a photoshoot of a couple and the pictures turned out great. The park has so many trails to hike, bikers have bike trails. You can see wildflowers (in season), several species of cactus and beautiful sunsets from this park, enjoy!
