DBG is one of Phoenix's premier attractions and a not to be missed opportunity to understand the charms and challenges of desert living. In November 2013 Dale Chihuly's amazing glass installations will be back -- do not miss them!

I don't usually visit Botanical Gardens, but I went with friends who thought it might be fun. It was
great! It's a Desert Garden so it has many of the desert plants and it is amazing to see them and to understand them while here in Phoenix. It was a lot of fun.

The garden is good on a day visit, allow about 4 hours and be ready to walk; but coming back at least once each season is like a new visit because the plants and wildlife change throughout the year.
