Do NOT miss. This is a very special place - unique plants and wonderful setting. We did all of the "walks" - it took about 1 1.2 hours. Highly recommended.

“Interesting place”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

I think the gardens were nice, but too pricey for what you get. Also they charge extra for the butterfly garden. I think it would have been nice to have more info to read , but they do offer an audio guide, I am sure at a price. I am glad we saw it, but wouldn't need to go again.

“Interesting desert”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

It opens early, so we arrived around 8am before it became too hot. The displays of plants etc were very attractive. It was good to see what the area would have been like before all towns arrived.

“Best time to go is Spring during the butterfly exhibit”

It was breath taking and the kids loved the butterflies landing on them. So cool! Bring lots of water. The snack bar is pricey

“Beautiful Garden”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

I loved seeing all the varieties of cacti but wished we'd be there two weeks later to see the desert blooms. Cactus were starting to bud and saw a few flowering. Pretty place to visit.
