Awesome! Amazing music, beautiful lights, friendly and helpful staff!
We weren't sure if the experience would be worth the admission, but it was so worth it. The beautifully lit trails, sculptures, and the variety of music and Native American story tellers was magical! If I am in Phoenix in December, I will definitely make time for this.

The tickets sold out on a Saturday night, so plan ahead and reserve tickets.

We spent a few hours touring through the gardens. They are beautifully laid out with good interpretive signage. We were fortunate to arrive just as a free tour was starting and we tagged along. The docent was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and she really added to the pleasure of this visit.

With temperatures in Phoenix cooler than normal we bundled up and headed out early to the Desert botanical gardens. We arrived in time for the first tour of the day and it was excellent. The docent gave us a great overview of the desert plant and animal life and even let us see inside a cactus. The rest of the morning was spent exploring the trails. They are well marked and provide a glimpse into the life of the desert and the people who live there. We did not see any of the presentations but we did stop for an excellent cup of coffee at the patio cafe. This is well worth the time to visit, even in early January.

I always enjoy visiting the garden. I've gone to concerts there and special exhibits. They do a wonderful job on all of their special events.

I went to Las Noches de las Luminarias and enjoyed the lights and variety of music. The Desert Botanical Gardens is a nice place to visit any time of the year as there are different plants blooming all throughout the year.
