We go here often (we are members) and love the garden. It is a wonderful orientation to desert plants. Th especial events are memorable. We had the Big Bugs, Dale Chihouly and the musical event over the holiday is an annual tradition. If you are a member of another Botanical Garden or Arboretum be sure to check for reciprocity.

Nice botanical gardens, showing six different landscape types of the desert. Nice easy loops to walk. The cactus are fantastic but in May 2012, the other flowers suffered from the drought. Easy parking.

Went for a corporate dinner. A beautiful garden, though a bit on the small side. The layout and landscaping are superb. I really fell in love with the desert during my visit to this museum. Too bad the real Arizona desert is not so beautiful... Definitely worth the trip, but try the morning or evening or you will bake!

Excellent time - avoid july and august unless you really enjoy the heat - then go early mornings - overall great place and educational too!
