B&B owners Eddie and Dale welcomed us with a warm, generous spirit and a relaxed sense of humor which all combined to set us at ease right away. We stayed in the newly furnished, thoughtfully appointed, and quietly situated, Jerome Room. As we entered the room, a satellite radio was set to a relaxing bird song channel, which helped set the mood for us. Because of the private entrance, we didn’t worry about slipping in late after a nearby family party. We slept well in the comfortable bed. In the morning, the rain shower, with its partially glass tiled walls, was a real treat. The salt-water swimming pool was an oasis of calm. Continental breakfast included a delicious mixed fruit bowl as well as a variety of options including our choices of a hard-boiled egg and cheese Danish. For us, ZenYard was a perfect blend of the comforts of a hotel and the unique personality and charm of a B&B. We hope to return soon…

A rather difficult place to categorise: a typical (I assume) Phoenix suburban plot, with a couple of outbuildings and a smartly laid-out pool area. But there were a lot of odd jobs going on around the place which meant much of it was far from immaculate, and the Cowboy Casita was something of a disappointment: the 1960s fittings in kitchen and bathroom were a bit too authentically original to bring much sense of retro flair, and the lounge area could do with a lot of freshening up. But with a decent breakfast, and a good location for driving to local facilities and further afield, not a bad package for the big city.

It's worth going to that place just for the hosts who are very very very nice. In addition to this, they have a cozy house in a peaceful area. And there is a relaxing swimming pool where my boyfriend and I loved chatting with them in the evening. That is my best memory!
Finally, this bed and breakfast is very cheap, which is a very good piece of news. We wish you a lot of success guys!

I really hesitate to write a positive review; because, the ZenYard is so good, I don't want to find it's booked next time I am in Phoenix. Because, I would not consider staying anywhere else after such a great stay.

Incredibly serene digs. Great pool. Immaculate. Amazing breakfast. Superb hosts.

Dale and Eddie must certainly know what a precious gem they have both created in Phoenix. From the calming colors of the Central Suite to the funky Cowboy Casita, the Zen Yard is a home away from home.
The salt water pool was a welcome pleasure when the temperature soared and the super comfy loungers were an added bonus for the sun worshiper in me!
The breakfasts consisted of an array of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereals, a beautiful tea selection and the most delicious banana bread on the planet (thank you Dale!!!)
I am looking forward to returning to the Zen Yard guest house, thank you for such a great getaway.

The zen yard, was clean and calm and the Hosts Eddie and Dale we're incredibly accomodating during my stay. BE SURE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE MASSAGE service, as it was one of the highlights of my stay. I had an incredible time relaxing and enjoying the amenities the property had to offer. A MUST stay if your going to be in phoenix.

ZenYard was truly fantastic! Dale and Eddie were excellent hosts and made the stay much more inviting than a hotel or resort. The pool and hot tub are very relaxing as was our entire stay. We found the location to be very convenient for hiking, dining, shopping and entertainment. We plan on staying at ZenYard next time we visit Phoenix.
