The restaurant's mountaintop location and floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the desert landscape, the city's twinkling lights in the distance and Arizona's brilliant sunsets. No restaurant in the state has a longer streak of consecutive AAA four-diamond awards and Sunset Magazine named it one of the top 10 mountaintop restaurants in the nation. Valley residents have come for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, romantic evenings or just treat themselves to one of the most unique Arizona experiences. The Terrace Room Lounge, next to the restaurant, features one of the largest patios and a nine foot fire pit on the cliff side

Fabulous Food
Incredible View

This a dinner with this view and food in New York City would cost over $500.

I visited this restaurant as part of a large business group for dinner. The views were lovely, and the service very attentive and professional. However the food left little to be desired for me. I had the hamachi crudo appetizer which was ok, but not great. A colleague ordered the endive salad which she didn't eat at all. For dinner, I thought that the filet sounded perfect, but it was mediocre at best, and certainly not worthy of the $45 price tag. It was over-cooked, for one, and the quality of the beef did not seem up to par with the price. The accompaniments were just not tasty, as well. The mushrooms, which I normally love did not taste fresh, and the "French potatoes" had a very odd consistency and were very bland. Presentation for everything seemed to be over the top and nouveau, yet the flavors just didn't match up.
Dessert was delicious, as was the coffee. Additionally, drinks on the patio below were lovely...a few small plates down there would have been a much more enjoyable time for me, personally.

It has taken me a while to write this review but I have never forgotten the views at this restaurant. Wow, Different Pointe of View has the best views in all of Phoenix. Food is fantastic, drinks are amazing and staff is super professional. Considering this was a holiday buffet meal, it really exceeded my expectations. The selection was vast and everything was fresh and tasty. This restaurant is a "must " when you are in Phoenix!

The view and décor make this place a must stop. There are not many places in PHX you can have a cocktail or before or after dinner snack with a view of the valley.

We celebrated my husband's 30th birthday by having dinner at this restaurant. Talk about delicious! The entire experience had us totally impressed. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the delicious menu. We were so happy with everything that we tried! It was all fabulous. If you go, you have to get the short rib dinner. OMG. You do not even need teeth to eat that, it was sooo tender! This is a rare occasion for us to go out to a dinner this expensive (we paid $166 dollars including tip and we each had one drink) but it was for a celebration so we did it! Not only was the food great, but the atmosphere is so wonderful. Eating a great meal while you overlook the Valley during sunset is something else. It was so nice to eat in a restaurant where every person in it was NOT on a cell phone, but rather enjoying conversation and each other. The restaurant was hard to find at first as it is on the third floor of the building and there are not many signs on where you are going. That would be the hotels fault though, not the restaurants. Absolutely go to this restaurant!! GO GO GO!!
