Perched on a bluff, there is an outstanding view of the Phoenix valley from the dining room. We took some friends there as a “Thank-you” for letting us stay with them and to celebrate a 70th Birthday. The food, service, and location were truly spectacular. My husband started with the Lobster Bisque. He thought it was probably some of the best they ever had. My friend & I split the scallop appetizer. We each got a huge (about 2”) diver scallop that came with Red Quinoa and a blood orange sauce. I had the Venison that came with a sweet potato pancake, roasted beets, and a huckleberry sauce. It was perfectly cooked and the combination of flavors was perfect. My husband had the brown sugar pork tenderloin with Brie Risotto - also a great combination of taste and texture. For dessert, we all split the Apple Spice Ice Cream and Crème Fraiche Vanilla Cream Oatmeal Cranberry Cookie dessert. A long name but it was like an apple crisp and really fantastic. Dinner with drinks in the Terrace room & a bottle of Merlot was $340 for four. It was a really fantastic meal and a great place for a celebration!
