“Better than Denny's”
Reviewed December 17, 2012 via mobile

I've been to better Whole Foods but I've also been to worse with no selection.

We ate here (Mayo location) for breakfast/brunch each day on vacation, as it was a better alternative to other places and more cost effective.

Get there eat for breakfast or things will be cold, stale or picked over.

Wish there were more fruits and vegetables. Other Whole Foods I've been to had far more selections in those.

“whole foods for sit down meal”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

The Whole Foods at Tatum and Shea is simply a great deal..check the extensive salad bar...something for everyone, organic, vegan etc., the pizza is very good, also really delicious soups and a well thought out prepared foods section..grab a punnet or plate ..then check out and grab a table ..there are only about 6 or 7 tables but there is always take home.. either way a meal for 4 runs about $20'00 to $30.00.. well worth it!

“The hot/cold bar awful, messy, disgusting”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

Arrived on a Friday for lunch 1 pm it was disqusting. The hot bar had some items that were dried, and unless you read the description it was a few beans, a few stale sliced sweet potatoes, something called tofu stroganoff, it was disgusting. The cold bar most items had not been replenished it was messy someone has spilled stuff all over floor. All for $7.99 lb

“Love this place!”
Reviewed June 1, 2012

There are several Whole Foods in the Phoenix area. I actually stopped at the one in Mesa. We don't have a Whole Foods in my town so I stocked up on the things I can't get there. The cashier was very thoughtful--asked me if I would like a complimentary bag of ice for the long trip back home. As it was 112º in Phoenix, I said most definitely!

I love this place i shop and eat here several times a week when i can.. take a look around and see how they have gotten it right. the marketing of whole foods and the food bar is so tasty and great value. I love that they now have a happy hour.. There are so many good options to eat there.. you can have anything health food or regular food.. Wish there were more of these.. make sure to try this out..
