“Great park”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Really liked this ball park. We took a park tour and went to the locker room, press box, and dugout, and pool area and our tour guide Roger was friendly and very knowledgeable. We also attended two of the final games of the season. The roof was open which was also very nice and more of a true "ball-park" feel. The park has lots of concessions and bathrooms and fun bars where you can see the field such as the Diamond Club. We also ate at the Fridays restaurant at the field which is very unique. One of the nicest parks in MLB.

“Great place for a business reception”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We came here for a business reception one evening when there wasn't a game going on. The room was nice and the food was good. They offered a free tour of the grounds which was nice as well.

“The Roof & Score Board were the highlight”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

Being from the East Coast we have some great ball fields. We do have Toronto with the dome which is great. But the Roof Report was cool and the whole opening. I also enjoyed all the games, mascots, flag waving. It made the game more enjoyable. I always thought baseball was a bit stiff and needed some loosening up. Unfortunately seats are so uncomfortable my legs were getting cramps and numb. I had to leave my very nice view and walk around the stadium to get feeling back into my legs. The score board was very informative, Better than most. It had lots more information, my husband loved it. The Diamondbacks also gave out programs with the lineup cards inside. Nice. That would cost a few buck back home. As far as food we were not impressed with the food selection. Lots of Big Dawgs Hot Dog & Double Headers stands, Fat Burger,Macayo's Mexican,ReyGloria's Tamales, TCBY, Cold Stone Creamery, Subway, Hungry Hill Sausages, Panda Express.
Other than the Mexican food there wasn't anything remarkable about the food. In Boston you can get Pulled Pork, New England Clam Chowder, Turkey BLT to name a few items. Baltimore has Bacon on a Stick, Beer Can Chicken, Camden Yards Crab Cake & Softshell Crab Sandwich. Citifield in NY has Pastrami Sandwiches, frozen custards, chicken mole Pipian, carnitas, vegetarian tacos, chile-marinated skirt steak, grilled shrimp po'boys, Long Island corn and clam chowder, plus Korean food, hot dogs & burgers. This is why Chase field should do better with their food selection. Embrace the multicultural food heritage of Phoenix and put it in the Chase Field restaurants & concessions.
The best thing we saw there was the mobile Sauza Margaritas. Never have I seen this in a ballpark before. Also, they don't sell hot dogs in the stands like on the East coast. Lots of beer, peanuts, cotton candy, water, cookies, rice crispy treats. No hot dogs. Strange.

“Baseball”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Being from California, we had nothing like Chase. Our first game I thought the ball would hit the roof, course it never did.Being inside the crowds are louder but the temperature was better.....great fun..
