The museum is easily accessible for all. There are a variety of arts available for all to see. Major art groups are rotated and available.

The PHX Art Museum has a great standard collection of fine cowboy and Asian art. What I like are the rotating exhibits - like the one of the evolution of video games - brought back lots of memories!

On display now is an AZ artist named Curtis. His work was unknown to us but it is spectacular, if you like artists such as: Dali or Bosch but not as radical as those two. A lot of great Western Art as well. Very nice setting with a great little restaurant, too.

We arrived a bit late (only 1-1/2 hours before closing), but we were greeted warmly and encouraged to enjoy the museum.

We obviously couldn't see everything, but it was an enjoyable visit. We especially liked the contemporary art and western art exhibits.

I am an art buff so this place was like a candy shop for me. The hallways and galleries are full of collections of art and paintings from all the major movements, right from the Renaissance to the present day. The considerable collection of contemporary art with works by Pablo Picasso, Henry Moore, Frida Kahlo and the like was in particular, a treat for me. And after what felt like a miles long trek through the place to nourish the mind I was ended a perfect day with really nice meal at the café, to nourish my tummy. Perfect!
