“Memorable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

Joined a group of 19 riders and 2 wranglers for the 445 evening ride to the steakhouse and back.
The natural desert views and mountaintop overlooking all of Phoenix was worth the $45 price for 2+ hours on horseback. Returning in the dark was relaxing.
Jeans and tennis shoes are great. Glad I had long sleeves. Saw 3 coyotes and a jack rabbit. The t-bone was good. Not sure I would say it was a salad "bar" with 7 items...but it was fresh.
Guides Jerry and Dave gave me confidence they knew how to manage a group.
Bring cash to tip them!

“Fun time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2014

I'm a horse person and it was great to see horses that looked well cared for and also responded to direction from the rider. We rode for an hour and that was long enough for us. The guide was nice and informative. Tip your guide!

“Wild Wild West”

I felt like a real AZ Cowgirl riding in the Wild Wild West. Great experience. You have to meet the friendly Wranglers.

“Perfect family outing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2014

We celebrated my 7-year-olds birthday with a trail ride. The weather was perfect--as it often is in Phoenix outside of summer. The wranglers were great with the children, and very accommodating and attentive to inexperienced riders.

“Typical Trail Ride”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2014

I suppose whenever you offer to allow someone with no riding experience the opportunity to climb on the back of one of your horses that drama and excitement should not be the expectation. If sitting on the back of a horse that drives itself, nose to tail with the horse in front of you, in a long dusty line of other horses for an hour or so this is for you. The folks were nice, the horses seemed well cared for, and the scenery and view from the ride were slower and perhaps a lot closer to native sand, rocks and vegetation than a car ride through the desert. If you like to ride and are experienced, this is not for you. If you are a little afraid of what riding a horse may be like, but always wanted to try it, this is a good place to start for you.
